The Convention, which was adopted in 1985, was a sort of agreement amongst various nations to adopt measures to combat depletion of ozone layer that protects us from harmful ultra violet rays of the sun.&nbsp;&nbsp;
The Convention later took the form of the Montreal Protocol in 1987 and aimed to cut out 99% of all ozone-depleting substances.
The theme this year is 'Ozone for life: 35 years of ozone layer protection'.
