Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday hosted the women ministers of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's reshuffled council of ministers at her residence.In the recent reshuffle, seven BJP MPs have been inducted into the council. In an interview to the Hindustan Times, Harsimrat said that she couldn't make her Cabinet colleagues understand that Punjab's apprehensions related to the farm bills were different from those in other parts of the country. She, however, insisted that the Akali-BJP alliance remained intact and that she has quit to support the farmers on the new bills.
