Japan's Okinawa region suspended the use of Moderna's Covid-19 vaccine on Sunday after another contamination was spotted.
It comes a day after the Japanese health ministry said it was investigating the death of two men who received shots from tainted Moderna batches -- though the cause of their death is unknown.
The Suspension came after the health ministry said two men, aged 30 and 38, died in early August after getting their second Moderna doses.
According to the reports, black substances were spotted in syringes and a vial, while pink substances were found in a different syringe filled with vaccine at the Okinawa centre.&nbsp;
"We are suspending the use of Moderna's Covid-19 vaccines as foreign substances were spotted in some of them," local government&nbsp;said in a statement.

The European Medicines Agency said the side-effects were more common in younger men.&nbsp;The medicines safety body assured that the benefits of Covid vaccines continue to far outweigh any risks.&nbsp;But doctors and patients have been advised to be aware of the symptoms of heart inflammation.
Two conditions were linked to the vaccines - inflammation of the heart muscle itself, known as myocarditis, and inflammation of the fluid-filled sac the heart sits in, known as pericarditis.&nbsp;The UK's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has also been investigating the link.

Moderna&rsquo;s Covid-19 vaccine could reach India this week and be available in a few major government hospitals by July 15, ET reported quoting health officials.
While the mRNA-based&nbsp;vaccines developed by the US drugmaker may reach India this week only, the distribution to hospitals will take another week or so.
This is likely to make Moderna the fourth vaccine to be used in India after Covishield, Covaxin and Russia&rsquo;s Sputnik V. Cipla&nbsp;who is still to share details of the import plan for private use will not need separate approval as and when it works out a commercial deal with Moderna.&nbsp;
