BJP&nbsp;released a list for the <a href="https://www.editorji.com/west-bengal-assembly-election" target="_blank" >West Bengal assembly elections</a> on Tuesday, and in a surprising move it seems that actor turned politician Mithun&nbsp;Chakraborty's&nbsp;name is missing.
Reports had earlier said that Mithun&nbsp;would contest from Rashbehari, but the BJP has fielded retired Lieutenant General Subrata Saha.
Mithun&nbsp;in preparation has also enlisted as a voter in Kolkata, transferring his voting card from Mumbai.
The actor is scheduled to campaign in&nbsp;Nandigram&nbsp;on March 30 for&nbsp;Suvendu&nbsp;Adhikari.

Case against Mithun Chakraborty's wife, son for rape & cheating

Mumbai's Oshiwara police station has registered a case against Mithun Chakraborty's son Mahaakshay for the rape and coercion of a girl, based on her earlier&nbsp;complaint and Delhi&nbsp;Rohini&nbsp;courts order to file FIRs against&nbsp;Mahaakshay&nbsp;&amp; Mithun's wife&nbsp;Yogita Bali in&nbsp;2018.

Mumbai Police have booked&nbsp;Mithun Chakraborty's son&nbsp;Mahaakshay&nbsp;and the veteran actor&rsquo;s wife Yogita Bali on a complaint of rape and cheating filed by a woman.&nbsp;The case was registered at&nbsp;Oshiwara&nbsp;police station based on the complaint lodged by the 38-year- old woman.&nbsp;The complainant said she was in a relationship with&nbsp;Mahaakshay&nbsp;from 2015 to 2018 and during that period he had promised to marry her.&nbsp;The woman said she had gone to see&nbsp;Mahaakshay's flat and&nbsp;the accused offered her a spiked soft drink and forced her to have physical relations.&nbsp;The woman alleged that when she became pregnant,&nbsp;Mahaakshay&nbsp;asked her to abort the baby and gave her pills.&nbsp;The woman claimed that Mithun&rsquo;s wife had threatened her when after&nbsp;Mahaakshay&nbsp;refused to marry her.&nbsp;
