Italian luxury house Fendi announced that it has appointed British fashion designer Kim Jones as the artistic director of women's collections.
Jones will succeed Karl Lagerfeld&nbsp;who joined Fendi in 1965 and was its womenswear design chief since 1977, before passing away in 2019.
Jones will take on&nbsp;Fendi duties while staying the creative director of Dior Homme. The British designer will work with Silvia Venturini Fendi, who will continue to be in charge of creating Fendi accessories and menswear collections.
Kim Jones will display his first Fendi collection during the fall-winter 2021-2022 Milan fashion week in February.

Disney's move to premiere its $200 million film came in the wake of the pandemic that has forced shut theatres.
The film is based on the life of Hua&nbsp;Milan, the eldest daughter of a warrior who steps in&nbsp;to take the place of her ailing father.&nbsp;
Directed by Niki Caro, Mulan stars Liu Yifei in the central role and is a remake of the 1998 animated film that goes by the same name.&nbsp;
