NASA&nbsp;on Friday&nbsp;published images on its Twitter page of the successful drill hole on the Mars surface, the first-ever hole dug into the Red Planet by a robot. Thomas Zurbuchen&nbsp;associate administrator for NASA's&nbsp;science mission directorate said that while this is not 'hole-in-one the agency hoped for, there is always a risk with breaking new grounds.&nbsp;&nbsp;While the first step of the 11-day long mission was successful, the Mars rover could not collect any samples and seal them in the tube in its first attempt. The study of the sample aims at finding out signs&nbsp;of ancient microbial life on the planet and understanding Martian geology.&nbsp;
