Closing at an all-time high, the 30-share BSE Sensex surged by 431 points, or 0.63 per cent, culminating at 69,296. Despite global market weaknesses, the Sensex remained positive throughout Friday's trading session. This resilience was evident as US stock futures, the dollar, and Treasury yields experienced declines due to expectations that the Federal Reserve would maintain unchanged interest rates during its September meeting. Meanwhile, leading European markets, including the UK's FTSE, France's CAC, and Germany's DAX, ended with substantial losses when the Sensex concluded its trading session.
Market experts highlight that the domestic market's ascent is primarily driven by increased retail investor participation in a favorable macroeconomic environment.
Over the last six trading sessions, the Sensex recorded a rise of 2.73%, while the Nifty registered a gain of 2.94%.&nbsp;
Sensex closed 333 points higher at 66,598 while the Nifty closed the day at 19,819 up 93 points on Friday.&nbsp;

After three days of decline, the 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 480.57 points or 0.74 per cent to settle at 65,721.25. During the day, it jumped 558.59 points or 0.85 per cent to 65,799.27.
The NSE Nifty advanced 135.35 points or 0.70 per cent to end at 19,517.
IndusInd Bank was the biggest gainer in the Sensex pack, rising 3.25 per cent, followed by Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Bharti Airtel, HCL Technologies, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, RIL, TCS, L&amp;T and Infosys.
State Bank of India, NTPC, Maruti, Bajaj Finserv, Tata Motors and Power Grid were among the laggards, slipping up to 2.94 per cent.
In Asian markets, Tokyo, Shanghai and Hong Kong ended in the positive territory while Seoul settled lower.
European markets were trading with gains in early deals. The US markets ended marginally lower in the overnight trade on Thursday.
India's services sector growth touched a 13-year high in July as a substantial improvement in demand conditions and a pick-up in international sales induced the strongest increase in new business and output, according to S&amp;P Global India Services PMI Business Activity Index.
Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) offloaded equities worth Rs 317.46 crore on Thursday, according to exchange data.
Global oil benchmark Brent crude climbed 0.62 per cent to USD 85.67 a barrel.
The BSE benchmark fell by 542.10 points or 0.82 per cent to settle at 65,240.68 on Thursday. The Nifty declined 144.90 points or 0.74 per cent to end at 19,381.65

Fitch Ratings has downgraded the United States government's credit rating, citing rising debt at the federal, state, and local levels and a "steady deterioration in standards of governance" over the past two decades.
The rating was cut on Tuesday one notch to AA+ from AAA, the highest possible rating.
The 30-share BSE Sensex tumbled 676.53 points or 1.02 per cent to settle at 65,782.78. During the day, it cracked 1,027.63 points or 1.54 per cent to 65,431.68.
The NSE Nifty fell by 207 points or 1.05 per cent to end at 19,526.55.
"The Indian market witnessed a broad sectoral slide, affected by weak global market trends. Negative news regarding the US rating downgrade on fiscal concerns, coupled with weak factory activity data from Eurozone and China, led to widespread worries across the globe.
"Additionally, prolonged FII selling, triggered by a rise in US bond yields, has disrupted the mood of the domestic market," said Vinod Nair, Head of Research at Geojit Financial Services.
From the Sensex pack, Tata Steel declined 3.45 per cent, followed by Tata Motors which fell by 3.19 per cent. Bajaj Finserv, NTPC, JSW Steel, State Bank of India, Larsen &amp; Toubro and Bharti Airtel were among the other major laggards.
Nestle, Asian Paints, Hindustan Unilever and Tech Mahindra were the gainers.
In Asian markets, Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai and Hong Kong ended lower.
European markets were trading in the red. The US markets ended mostly in the negative territory on Tuesday.
Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) offloaded equities worth Rs 92.85 crore on Tuesday, according to exchange data.
Global oil benchmark Brent crude jumped 0.80 per cent to USD 85.59 a barrel.

From the Sensex pack, State Bank of India, Wipro, Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and IndusInd Bank were the major gainers.
HDFC Bank climbed 2% after the company reported a 29.13% jump in consolidated net profit for the June quarter at Rs 12,370.38 crore.
Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel, Titan and JSW Steel were among the laggards.
"Despite the mixed performance observed in the Asian market due to China's underwhelming GDP data, the Indian market exhibited resilience, in anticipation of a bumper Q1 result," Vinod Nair, Head of Research at Geojit Financial Services said.

The 30-share BSE Sensex fell 223.01 points or 0.35 per cent to settle at 62,625.63. During the day, it declined 253.9 points or 0.40 per cent to 62,594.74.
The NSE Nifty went lower by 71.15 points or 0.38 per cent to end at 18,563.40.
Tata Steel was the biggest loser in the Sensex chart, slipping nearly 2 per cent, followed by State Bank of India, Hindustan Unilever, HCL Technologies, Infosys, ITC, Asian Paints, Mahindra &amp; Mahindra, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services and Reliance Industries.
On the other hand, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, Larsen &amp; Toubro, Power Grid, UltraTech Cement and Tata Motors were among the gainers.

Equity benchmarks Sensex and Nifty surrendered early gains to close with losses on Thursday, snapping their four-day winning streak as investors pared exposure to auto, bank and IT stocks after the RBI left its key interest rate unchanged.
After remaining in the positive territory for the most part of the session, the 30-share BSE Sensex fell 294.32 points or 0.47 per cent to settle at 62,848. During the day, it tumbled 353.23 points or 0.55 per cent to 62,789.73.
The NSE Nifty declined 91.85 points or 0.49 per cent to end at 18,634.
Kotak Mahindra Bank was the biggest loser in the Sensex pack, sliding 2.68 per cent, followed by Tech Mahindra, Mahindra &amp; Mahindra, Axis Bank, Hindustan Unilever, Tata Motors, Tata Consultancy Services, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, Nestle and Titan.
In contrast, NTPC, Power Grid, Larsen &amp; Toubro, HDFC, Reliance and HDFC Bank were the gainers.
In Asian markets, Seoul and Tokyo ended lower, while Shanghai and Hong Kong settled in the green.
Global oil benchmark Brent crude dipped 0.31 per cent to USD 76.71 a barrel.

Benchmark equity indices ended with gains on Wednesday, logging their fourth day of rally amid fresh foreign fund inflows and a mixed trend in global markets.
The gains in metal, realty, oil &amp; gas and industrials stocks also supported the market's rally.
Rising for the fourth straight session, the 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 350.08 points or 0.56 per cent to settle at 63,142.96. During the day, it jumped 403.55 points or 0.64 per cent to 63,196.43.
The NSE Nifty advanced 127.40 points or 0.68 per cent to end at 18,726.40.
From the Sensex pack, Nestle, Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel, Larsen &amp; Toubro, Power Grid, NTPC, Tata Consultancy Services, Tech Mahindra, Infosys and Axis Bank were the major gainers.
Kotak Mahindra Bank, Maruti, Bajaj Finance, Mahindra &amp; Mahindra and ICICI Bank were the laggards.
In Asian markets, Seoul, Shanghai and Hong Kong ended in the green, while Tokyo settled lower.

Rising for the third straight session, the 30-share BSE Sensex eked out marginal gains of 5.41 points to settle at 62,792. During the day, it hit a high of 62,867 and a low of 62,554.
The NSE Nifty went up by 5.15 points to end at 18,599.
Both benchmark indices oscillated between highs and lows in a highly volatile trade during the day.
UltraTech Cement was the biggest gainer in the Sensex chart, climbing 3.13 per cent, followed by Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tata Motors, Axis Bank, Maruti, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance and Mahindra &amp; Mahindra.
In contrast, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Bharti Airtel, HCL Technologies, ICICI Bank and Nestle were among the laggards.

The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 240 points to settle at 62,787. During the day, it jumped 396 points to 62,943.
The NSE Nifty advanced 59.75 points to end at 18,593.
From the Sensex pack, Mahindra &amp; Mahindra climbed 3.81 per cent and Axis Bank advanced 2.68 per cent, followed by Tata Motors, Larsen &amp; Toubro, Tata Steel, ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries, Maruti, IndusInd Bank and Sun Pharma.
Asian Paints, Tech Mahindra, Nestle, Hindustan Unilever, Kotak Mahindra Bank and ITC were among the laggards.
Global oil benchmark Brent crude jumped 1.92 per cent to USD 77.59 a barrel.
