Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra had earlier warned strict action against the e-commerce portal in case the company fails to cooperate in the probe.

Basing the results on repeat assessments of 665 participants in a general population cohort&nbsp;for over 20 years, the&nbsp;study&nbsp;is the first to&nbsp;connect&nbsp;frequent adolescent cannabis use with the potential&nbsp;intergenerational risks.&nbsp;&nbsp;
As per the&nbsp;research, babies born to parents (aged 29 and over) who used cannabis regularly for a certain period in their teens were 20% more likely to&nbsp;be&nbsp;preterm or have a low birth weight.&nbsp;
Although&nbsp;this effect was&nbsp;not observed at lower levels of use, high&nbsp;daily use of cannabis&nbsp;in teen years&nbsp;was associated with a more than six-fold increase in the odds of premature birth.&nbsp;
While cannabis use is illegal in India, globally it is one of&nbsp;the most commonly used illicit drugs amongst teenagers. The team from Switzerland and China adds that all current hemp and drug cultivars diverged from a&nbsp;gene pool currently represented by feral plants in China.&nbsp;&nbsp;
While earlier estimates suggested that the first records of cannabis were in India about 3,000 years ago, the new research&nbsp;claims&nbsp;the crop was likely introduced&nbsp;to the Indian subcontinent&nbsp;from China, along with other crops.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Interestingly, the&nbsp;scientists&nbsp;added&nbsp;that while the much-loved and defamed plant&nbsp;can be traced&nbsp;as far&nbsp;back&nbsp;as&nbsp;10,000&nbsp;to&nbsp;3,000 BC, its use and recognition as a&nbsp;psychoactive&nbsp;drug is far more recent.&nbsp;&nbsp;

"Joints for Jabs" is officially now a thing!&nbsp;But not in India. In Washington.&nbsp;The state's Liquor and Cannabis Board says licensed adult-use marijuana retail shops can give away a single pre-rolled joint to anyone over 21 who gets a shot at an on-site vaccine clinic held by July 12.&nbsp;
The board has already allowed breweries, wineries and restaurants to offer free drinks in exchange for proof of vaccination. Other incentives being offered in Washington include free sports tickets and prize money of up to $1 million.The idea is to persuade more people to get vaccinated, and help control the deadly virus.
But this isn't the first time. In Arizona, the Mint Cannabis Dispensary partnered with a medical group to offer free, onsite vaccinations at its three Phoenix vaccination locations.
