The motion was tabled in the house on August 29, 2022 amid Arvind Kejriwal&rsquo;s allegations against the BJP for making an attempt to buy AAP MLAs.&nbsp;

The Delhi Assembly passed the confidence motion tabled by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal even as five BJP MLAs staged a walkout after their party colleagues were marshalled out of the House on Thursday.&nbsp;
While all 58 Aam Aadmi Party MLAs present in the House voted in favour of the motion, there was no vote against it due to the absence of BJP legislators. AAP has 62 MLAs while BP has 8 in the house. &nbsp;
Three BJP MLAs -- Vijender Gupta, Abhay Verma and Mohan Singh Bisht -- were marshalled out as they "argued" with Deputy Speaker Rakhi Birla, who did not heed their demand to take up their calling attention notices before a discussion on the motion. The remaining legislators walked out in protest soon after.

Jharkhand politics: CM Hemant Soren proves majority in assembly 

Jharkhand CM has alleged that the opposition BJP is attempting horse-trading to destabilise the government in the state.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren-led ruling coalition in Jharkhand won a majority test in a special session of the assembly.&nbsp;
The confidence motion moved by Soren received 48 votes in favour in the 81-member house amid a boycott by the Opposition BJP, its ally AJSU Party, and two independents.
In his address to the house, Jharkhand CM alleged that the BJP is attempting horse-trading to destabilise the government in the state. Slamming the saffron party, Soren said that the opposition is creating an atmosphere of civil war.&nbsp;
The floor test was held even as uncertainty continued over the CM's political future and that of the ruling coalition.
The political crisis emerged in the state after BJP levelled corruption charges against Soren for allocating a mining lease to himself in 2021 and sought his resignation as an MLA.
In February this year, the BJP submitted a memorandum to the state Governor Ramesh Bais seeking disqualification of Soren from the House under Section 9(A) of the Representation of People's Act.&nbsp;
The Governor had forwarded the BJP complaint to the ECI and it had submitted its decision to the governor. However, the report has not been made public yet.&nbsp;
