Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has bought an apartment for Rs 69 crore in DLF's super luxury housing project in Gurugram, according to CRE Matrix.
Real estate data analytic firm CRE Matrix has reviewed the registered agreement for sale dated February 4, 2025.
Dhawan has bought a 6,040-square-foot apartment in the DLF's latest super-luxury project 'The Dahlias' on Golf Course Raod, Gurugram, the research firm said.
The value of the property is Rs 65.61 crore, and stamp duty is Rs 3.28 crore, taking the total consideration to nearly Rs 69 crore.
In October last year, veteran India opener Dhawan announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.
Dhawan made his international debut in 2010 in an ODI against Australia in Visakhapatnam, and his last India game was also a 50-over match, against Bangladesh in 2022.
In August last year, DLF launched a 17-acre housing project, 'The Dahlias' at DLF Phase 5 in Gurugram, Haryana comprising 420 apartments and penthouses.
This project is the second ultra-luxury offering from DLF after the successful delivery of 'The Camellias' at the same location.
DLF is expecting a total revenue of Rs 35,000 crore from this project.

Average prices of luxury homes, costing more than Rs 1.5 crore, have increased by 24 per cent in the last five years across seven major cities, according to property consultant Anarock.
Luxury homes recorded the highest average price appreciation of 24 per cent in the last five years, while rates of affordable homes below Rs 40 lakh went up by 15 per cent.
The price increase in the mid- and premium-housing segment -- costing in the range of Rs 40 lakh to Rs 1.5 crore -- was 18 per cent in the last five years.

The average price in the affordable homes category across the top seven cities was Rs 3,750 per sq ft in 2018 as against Rs 4,310 at present.
Mid- and premium-segment homes saw the average price go up from Rs 6,050 per sq ft in 2018 to Rs 7,120 per sq ft in 2023.
Anarock Chairman Anuj Puri said, "Extremely robust sales, ably supported by good supply pipeline, have resulted in luxury homes witnessing the most significant price appreciation. Considering the relative price stagnation in this segment in earlier years, a 24 per cent increase over the last five years is notable." Commenting on the report, Pradeep Aggarwal, founder and chairman, Signature Global (India) Ltd, said housing prices have risen in the last two years after remaining stagnant for almost a decade.
"We are witnessing price appreciation in all segments, be it affordable, mid-income, luxury and ultra luxury," he said.
The price growth is higher in luxury homes category because of a surge in demand amid limited supply, Aggarwal said.
Mohit Jain, managing director, Krisumi Corporation, said, "Luxury homes witnessing maximum price appreciation in the last five years is not at all surprising, considering that the demand in this segment has surged during and post-pandemic." People are looking to buy spacious homes with better amenities, he added.
"Luxury projects are now adopting green building norms in a big way, adding to the cost. Usage of top-notch construction material, finishes, appliances and design results in higher cost of construction," Jain said.

Despite the prices of luxury housing soaring, it has continued to witness a strong demand. 3100 homes priced at Rs 4 crore and above were sold during the April-June period across seven major cities, according to CBRE. This compares to 1,400 units being sold during the same time in the year-ago period.
As per the data, Hyderabad saw 20-fold jump to 1,000 units being sold during the second quarter of this calendar year up from 50 units sold in the corresponding period of the last year.
Sales of luxury homes in Delhi-NCR rose three times to 1,050 units from 350 units.
In Pune, 150 units were sold in April-June this year as against nil in the year-ago period.
Demand in Chennai and Kolkata remained flat at 50 units each.
Sales in Mumbai declined to 750 units in the second quarter of this year from 800 units in the year-ago period. In Bengaluru, demand fell by half to 50 units during April-June as compared to 100 units in the corresponding period of the last year.
"We are witnessing an impressive growth and resilience of the luxury housing segment. This surge signifies the strong demand and positive momentum in the luxury housing market.
"Looking ahead, we anticipate a stronger second half of 2023 in the residential market, supported by factors such as a healthy supply pipeline, the approaching festive season, and stabilising mortgage rates," Anshuman Magazine, Chairman &amp; CEO - India, South-East Asia, Middle East &amp; Africa of CBRE, said.
On the trend, DLF Group Executive Director &amp; Chief Business Officer Aakash Ohri said that the luxury housing sector is expected to sustain strong sales momentum, on the back of rapid urbanisation, improved affordability and aspirational needs.
"Among other Indian cities that have recorded a rise in demand for luxury properties, NCR stands out observing not just an increase in sale, but even rising rentals for luxury homes. Within NCR, Gurugram particularly has emerged as a preferred choice for luxury homebuyers, with large presence of HNIs (High Networth Individuals)and UHNIs (Ultra High Networth Individuals) base and a significant rise in the number of affluent millennials in the region," he said.
Mohit Jain, Managing Director of Gurugram-based Krisumi Corporation, said, the luxury housing segment is outperforming other segments due to the high aspirations among young homebuyers and changing preferences.
The limited supply of luxury homes and the rising demand is another significant reason that has led to a surge in sales, Ravish Kapoor, Managing Director of realty firm Elan Group, said.
