In BJP-ruled MP, the opposition Congress, led by former CM Kamal Nath, staged a walkout from the Assembly on the issue of a hike in the LPG cylinder price as the state government presented the state budget.

After prices of domestic and commercial LPG cylinders were hiked on Wednesday, reports of opposition protests emerged from several states including Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan.
In BJP-ruled MP, opposition Congress, led by former CM Kamal Nath, staged a walkout from the Assembly on the issue of hike in the LPG cylinder price as the state government presented the state budget.
Meanwhile, protests were also reported outside Maharashtra assembly on the issue. Rajasthan Congress too hit out at the Centre over hike in cylinder prices.
The prices of LPG cylinders were hiked by ₹50 for domestic and ₹300 for commercial cylinder.

LPG Cylinder Price Hike: Adding another addition to the expesnse list, price of a domestic 14.2 kg LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 50 per cylinder with effect from 6th July.

LPG Cylinder Price: In the last one year, the rate of domestic LPG (LPG) cylinders in Delhi has increased from Rs 834.50 to Rs 1003

LPG Cylinder Price Hike: Adding another addition to the expesnse list, price of a domestic 14.2 kg &nbsp;Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder has been increased by Rs 50 per cylinder with effect from 6th July.&nbsp;
Besides, the price of a 5kg domestic cylinder will increase by Rs 18 per cylinder.

In the last one year, the rate of domestic LPG (LPG) cylinders in Delhi has increased from Rs 834.50 to Rs 1003.&nbsp; The rate of 14.2 kg domestic LPG (LPG) cylinder was last increased by Rs 4 on May 19, 2022. Earlier on May 7 in Delhi, the rate was Rs 999.50 per cylinder.&nbsp;

LPG cylinder prices hiked once gain and with the latest revision the price of the cooking gas cylinder has skyrocketed above Rs 1000 all over the country. LPG prices  for domestic usewere hiked by Rs 3.5/cylinder effective immediately. Price for the commercial use cylinder has been hiked by a steep Rs 8. With the hike, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi and Mumbai is Rs 1003, in Kolkata the domestic LPG cylinder will cost Rs 1029, and in Chennai it will cost Rs 1018.5 from today.This is the second hike in the month of May following the firming of international energy rate. Since April 2021, prices have risen by over Rs 190 per cylinder.

With the hike, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi and Mumbai is Rs 1,003, in Kolkata the domestic LPG cylinder will cost Rs 1,029, and in Chennai, it will cost Rs 1,018.5 from today.
This is the second hike in the month of May following the firming of the international energy rate. Since April 2021, prices have risen by over Rs 190 per cylinder.

One last month for this year to go, but traders have been hit by inflation yet again. LPG prices for commercial cylinders were on Wednesday increased by ₹103.50. 
The only good news for general public is that domestic cylinders prices are stable and have not changed. 
Commercial cylinders of the 19 kg in Delhi will cost Rs 2,104 from today onwards which was costing Rs 2000.50 earlier. The price of commercial gas cylinder in Kolkata increased by Rs 101 to Rs 2,174.5. Earlier its price was Rs 2073.5. The commercial gas price in Mumbai has gone up to Rs 2,051. Earlier the price was Rs 1,950.
With this, the prices of commercial cylinders, food, and drink outside will become expensive. In September and October also, petroleum companies had increased the price of commercial gas cylinders. The price of a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder was increased by Rs 43 on September 1 and Rs 75 on October 1.
