A group of people allegedly barged into a shop run by a Muslim man here and removed posters with images of Lord Ram, police said on Friday.
Earlier this week, the group led by Radha Dhoni who objected to the display of the posters, forcibly entered the shop saying that the man no right to display the posters of Hindu deities as he is a Muslim.
A video of the incident also surfaced on social media in which the woman was seen threatening the shopkeeper and removing the posters.
According to locals, the shop, located near the ISBT, is owned by a Hindu and was being run by a Muslim man. The owner had also asked the shopkeeper not to change anything inside it.
On Thursday, a case under the Indian Penal Code sections 153A (promoting enmity between different groups), 295A (malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings) and 505 (public mischief) was registered at Patel Nagar police station against Dhoni and her associates, SHO Kamal Lunthi said.

NCP leader Jitendra Awhad has sparked a controversy after saying that Hindu god Ram was a non-vegetarian. He also called Ram a Bahujan.&nbsp;
Awhad made the comments while addressing an event in Maharashtra's Shirdi on Wednesday.&nbsp;
"Lord Ram belongs to us, Bahujans. He used to hunt and eat animals. He is a Bahujan. They are trying to make everyone a vegetarian by giving Lord Ram's example. But Lord Ram was not a vegetarian, he was a non-vegetarian. A person who has stayed in the forest for 14 years - where will he go to find vegetarian food?"
Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of the Shri Ram Janambhoomi Teerth Kshetra slammed Awhad and called him a liar who is insulting their god.&nbsp;

It is written that he used to have fruits...Such a liar has no right to insult our Lord Ram...Our God was always vegetarian...He is speaking demeaning words to insult our Lord Ram," he said
