The rule is expected to be a boon for the people who are under financial stress due to the Covid-19 pandemic, can instruct EPFO to pay the LIC premium at the time of purchase or at any time after the initial premium payment by filling Form 14 
A member cannot exercise any other insurance premium payment through EPFO.
Who is eligible to avail this advanceForm 14 must be submitted to EPFO in order to make LIC premium payments from EPF accounts, and the subscriber's EPF balance must be at least equal to two years' worth of LIC premium amount
