The designer released five exclusive non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the first day of FDCI X&nbsp;Lakmé&nbsp;Fashion Week. The NFTs&nbsp;sold out within seconds of launching on the&nbsp;WazirX&nbsp;NFT Marketplace.&nbsp;

Speaking during a live stream&nbsp;at the&nbsp;phygital&nbsp;edition&nbsp;of the fashion week, Malhotra&nbsp;said he looks at NFTs as a&nbsp;whole new&nbsp;industry&nbsp;for the exchange of art and culture which is creating new opportunities for all creatives.
As for his first NFT drop, the celebrity designer said the capsule depicts his journey&nbsp;in the fashion industry, including a 1998 image of supermodel Lisa Ray wearing his creation.
Known as a stylist to the stars, Malhotra&rsquo;s eponymous label&nbsp;also boasts of&nbsp;having opened&nbsp;India&rsquo;s&nbsp;first and only&nbsp;virtual reality&nbsp;couture store&nbsp;last year.
Discussing the future of NFTs in India, LFW&rsquo;s Jaspreet Chandok said the fashion body also plans to&nbsp;work with local artisans&nbsp;to create special NFTs that&nbsp;will&nbsp;talk about&nbsp;Indian&nbsp;crafts and use this technology to&nbsp;promote dialogue about the same.

While Kiara donned a stunning silver lehenga choli, Kartik looked dapper in an Indo-Western suit for Malhotra's new collection titled Nooraniyat. For Raw Mango's collection at the digital edition of Lakme Fashion Week, founder Sanjay Garg transported the audience to his native place Rajasthan.
Titled Moomal, his trip back home amid the lockdown made him nostalgic, and formed a major part of the collection.&nbsp; It was a riot of colours, textiles, silhouettes and motifs.
The line-up went big on peacock motifs, lehengas, Rajasthani necklaces and kurtas with choli cuts. For the first time, he introduced bandhej and gota work while hues of white, red, gulabi rani and rustic orange dominated the outfits. Bold purple and jade clothes came as a breath of fresh air!
The film, Sanjay Garg revealed, was filmed in Shekhawati and gave&nbsp;a glimpse of typical Marwari weddings.
