'Kuttey' Twitter Review: Arjun Kapoor, Tabu starrer gets mixed response from netizens

'Kuttey', starring Arjun Kapoor and Tabu, is finally in theatres.

'Kuttey', starring Arjun Kapoor and Tabu among others, is finally in theatres. Directed by Vishal Bharadwaj&rsquo;s son Aasman Bharadwaj, the action thriller opened to mixed reviews from the critics as well as the audience. A section of netizens are appreciating Tabu's performance while a few are saying that it&rsquo;s a 'waste' of time.

Calling it a &lsquo;must watch movie&rsquo;, one user wrote, '#Kuttey Is must watch Movie Go and Watch Mazaa Agya Dekh ke specially Wo driver Chase scene and Moong Ki dal Group #ArjunKapoor #Tabu #kutteyReview.'
Appreciating Tabu's acting and plot of the film, a user tweeted, '#KUTTEY is a decent film with #Tabu as its biggest USP. Interesting plot, decently engaging screenplay and excellent performances by the star cast esp Tabu. Keep your expectations limited and you&rsquo;ll enjoy it. Title is apt. The greedy &lsquo;Kuttey&rsquo;.&nbsp;
One Twitter user called it a 'one time watch' and wrote, '#Kuttey Shardul Bhardwaj, Ashish Vidyarthi and Jay Upadhyay (Surti) are okay. All in all, Kuttey is a decent one-time watch.'
Quite a few netizens are disappointed with the film. Calling it a waste, a user tweeted, '2023 for me started on a super dull not. First, #TheY &amp; then #Kuttey. Both the films failed in its primary purpose, that is, delivering entertainment. The first one, #Y which stars #YuvanHariharan couldn&rsquo;t be tolerated in the second half, I left midway. What a waste!'

Arjun Kapoor said, ‘Our job should always be to do what is needed for the film and then give the film to the people who can decide what offends them and what doesn’t.’

Arjun Kapoor said that as artists they have to do what the film demands while sticking to authenticity. He also said that these controversies bother him as he belongs from the same industry.

Actor Arjun Kapoor, who is awaiting the release for his upcoming film &lsquo;Kuttey&rsquo;, recently opened up about the controversy surrounding Shah Rukh Khan&rsquo;s film &lsquo;Pathaan'. He said that as artists they have to do what the film demands while sticking to authenticity. He also said that these controversies bother him as he belongs from the same industry.
In an interview with a news portal. Arjun said, &lsquo;I think the fact that we are discussing it will give undue advantage to it at this point. We have to trust our censor board and the central government as they operate together. I think everybody has a right to an opinion in a democracy, but we as artists have to do what the film demands and have to stick to that authenticity. I don&rsquo;t think we need to get caught up in a question that gives undue importance to things that create unnecessary banter and chatter.&rsquo;
While talking to India Today, the actor further added that their job is to do what the film demands and then hand over the film to the public to decide what bothers them. He said, &lsquo;Our job should always be to do what is needed for the film and then give the film to the people who can decide what offends them and what doesn&rsquo;t. I think we have followed that for a long time. Every film that gets made has to follow a process, even our film is no exception. We should just trust the process and the rules in a democracy.&rsquo;
&lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; has been embroiled in a controversy ever since the release of its song &lsquo;Besharam Rang&rsquo; on December 12, 2022. CBFC has also made several cuts to the film before providing U/A certificate.

The video seems like a promotional song where Tabu stars opposite Arjun Kapoor. &nbsp;
The 2-minute 30 seconds song starts with Radhika Madan dancing to a tune. &nbsp;Arjun and Tabu enter and sit opposite each other at a table. Surrounded by security and dancers, they start to play poker. The duo then battles against each other with swords and join Radhika on the dance floor. Konkana also makes an entry in the music video. &nbsp;
The song is getting mixed reviews from the audience. Few people like the remixed version, while some says the original song has been spoiled. &nbsp;

The motion poster of Aasmaan Bhardwaj&rsquo;s forthcoming film 'Kuttey' has been unveiled. The film has an ensemble cast including Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, Radhika Madan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Naseeruddin Shah, Kumud Mishra and Shardul Bhardwaj.
In the video, you get a glimpse of all the characters and its tagline reads, &lsquo;Ek haddi, saat kuttey (One bone for seven dogs)&rsquo;. Arjun is seen as a cop, while Tabu plays a senior investigation officer. Naseeruddin portrays the role of a deadly gangster and Konkona plays a Naxalite leader. Radhika, Shardul and Kumud also seem to be on a mission to kill someone, but their role isn&rsquo;t clear yet.
Last year, after the poster of the film was revealed, the audience was very excited to watch the film.
&lsquo;Kuttey&rsquo; is written by Aasmaan and Vishal Bhardwaj. It is produced by Luv Ranjan, Vishal Bhardwaj, Ankur Garg and Rekha Bhardwaj under the banner of Luv Films and Vishal Bhardwaj Films. This film marks the directorial debut of Aasmaan. It will hit the theatres on January 13, 2023.
