Singer and Rapper King, who recently released a new version of his hit song Maan Meri Jaan (Afterlife) in collaboration with singer Nick Jonas, recently revealed that Priyanka Chopra reassured him that he was doing the right thing. He said that he spoke to Priyanka on facetime while he was speaking with Nick about their single. He called her 'humble' and 'sweet'.
Speaking with ET Canada, the singer talked about his facetime conversation with Priyanka Chopra. He said 'So, the day this track (Maan Meri Jaan) was about to release, Nick sent me a text and he was like, &lsquo;Bro, let&rsquo;s FaceTime,&rsquo; and I was like, &lsquo;Okay, okay.&rsquo; And he called me up and we were talking and just appreciating each other&rsquo;s hard work and everything and he just literally did this [changes phone&rsquo;s angle] and said, &lsquo;You can speak to Priyanka.&rsquo; She was sitting just next to him. I was like, &lsquo;Is it really happening?'
He further added that Priyanka said that he's doing the right thing. This is the right moment to get on the map to do it right. And this is the perfect time.
The new version of 'Maan Meri Jaan' dropped earlier this month and became an instant hit. Although the hindi lyrics of the songs are pretty much the same as the last version, it features English vocals by Nick.

A new version of the Hindi hit &lsquo;Maan Meri Jaan&rsquo;, which marks American singer Nick Jonas&rsquo; collaboration with singer-songwriter King, is out and it is called &lsquo;Maan Meri Jaan (Afterlife)&rsquo;. The lyrics in Hindi are the same and sung by King, and Nick has lent his voice to same English lyrics.
Nick announced the release of the song on social media and wrote, 'Let&rsquo;s get it! &rdquo;Maan Meri Jaan (Afterlife)&rdquo; with @ifeelking is out now!' The fans of the duo are vibing with the new version of the song and the comment section is filled with fire emojis.
King was quick to react to his post, he wrote, 'TODAY IS THE DAY ILL NEVER FORGET thanks brother &nbsp;everytime i&rsquo;m listening to this.. 100% goosebumps. let&rsquo;s goooo.
