The complainant alleged that a team of over 40 personnel of Rajasthan police forcibly entered her house and asked about the whereabouts of Srikant.

In a latest development in the case of alleged abduction and killing of two men in Rajasthan's Bhiwani district, the pregnant wife of one of the accused Srikant has alleged that police assaulted her which led to her miscarriage.
Meanwhile, the Rajasthan police while terming the development as 'sad' has denied any involvement but said they are investigating the matter as the allegations are serious.
Dulari Devi, the mother of Srikant Pandit who is a member of the cow protection group led by Monu Manesar, also alleged in her complaint that the police forcibly took away her two other sons.
Varun Singla, Superintendent of Police of Nuh, said that a complaint from Devi has been received and a probe has been initiated.

Devi alleged that the Rajasthan police team had assaulted her family members, including women, during the incident on Friday morning.
The complainant alleged that a team of over 40 personnel of Rajasthan police forcibly entered her house and asked about the whereabouts of Srikant.
&ldquo;When I told them that my son was not at home, they thrashed me and my son's pregnant wife Kamlesh. They uttered abuses and took away my two sons Vishnu and Rahul with them and we still don't know about their whereabouts," she claimed.
Devi claimed that her daughter-in-law had completed nine months of pregnancy.

A 17-year-old girl was allegedly strangulated by her father and uncle for eloping with a boyfriend in Maharashtra's Jalna district, police said.
The two accused were arrested on Wednesday morning, said an official.
The girl, resident of an area near Jalna city, had eloped with her boyfriend three days ago. When she returned home, her father and uncle allegedly beat her up and strangled her on Tuesday night.
Some media outlets reported that the girl's father and uncle had asked her to come back home on the pretext of getting her married to the boy. The report added that the duo then dragged her from the wedding mandap and killed her.&nbsp;

They later burnt the body to destroy the evidence, but a local person alerted the police, the official said.
A team of Chandanjhira police station arrested the duo and further probe is underway, he said.

In a latest crackdown on protesters, Iranian authorities have sentenced at least five people to death for allegedly killing a member of country's paramilitary force.
Eleven others have been given jail sentence with the longest being 25 years, subject to appeal, as per state news ageny IRNA.
The state news agency added that at least 13 men and three minors have been charged with the killing of one Ruhollaj Ajamian, who was the member of Basij paramilitary volunteer branch of Iran's elite Revolutionary Guard.

The alleged incident reportedly took place on November 12 in Karaj after a group of men chased and assaulted the victim with knives and stones.
The accused have been referred to as "rioters" by Iran media, a term being used to describe anti-government demonstrators.
Iran's revolutionary court which awarded the punishments reportedly did not provide any evidence to support its accusations.
The punishments come amid claims over morality police being shut down and ongoing protests &nbsp;over anti-hijab law which flared up after Kurdish woman Mahsa Amini's death in police custody.
