You need to change the pace of the game.'
Hardik has faced fan fury ever since he was appointed as Mumbai Indians' new skipper. Reflecting on that Pietersen said, 'I think with Hardik, everything away from the game is affecting him so much. He's smiling too much when he does the toss. He's trying to act like he's so happy. He's not happy! I've been there. I've been in the firing line and I've been there proper! I can you that it affects you.'

Former England player Kevin Pietersen said that Sunrisers Hyderabad's Umran Malik should be included in India Cricket team for the rescheduled Test match against England in July at Edgbaston as he feels that Malik can pose a big threat to English batters.

In his blog on Betway, Pietersen wrote that if he was an India selector, he had included Malik in India Test squad for their rescheduled match against England because English players are facing 70mph (112kmph) seamers in county cricket and they will find it difficult to face 90-95mph(144-152kmph) bowling all of sudden. 
Cricketer-turned-commentator Pietersen further wrote that Malik is a breakout star and he should be in the reckoning for India’s Test team, as well as white-ball sides.
Srinagar born pacer has taken 15 wickets in 10 matches and has been breaking records with his pace. He delivered 157 kmph bowl against Delhi Capitals, which is the fastest delivery of IPL 2022.
