Former actor Kamaal Rashid Khan has tweeted an apology note for Salman Khan and said that he doesn&rsquo;t believe that the &lsquo;Dabangg&rsquo; actor was behind his arrest. KRK was arrested from Mumbai airport in September after he returned from Dubai for allegedly demanding sexual favours from a female actor and holding the complainant's hand in January 2019.&nbsp;
Post his release, he had indicated that Salman was the one behind his arrest. However, he changed took a u-turn in his tweet on Sunday.&nbsp;
&lsquo;I want to inform all media ppl that #SalmanKhan was not behind my arrest as I thought. Peeche Se Koi Aur Khel Kar Gaya (Someone else played the game behind my back). Bhai jaan @BeingSalmanKhan I am really sorry for misunderstanding you. And I apologise if I did hurt you in anyway. I voluntarily decide to not review ur films,&rsquo; he tweeted.&nbsp;
He added that Karan Johar also has nothing to do with his arrest.&nbsp;
&lsquo;Many people still think that Karan johar was behind my arrest. And I say again that Karan johar has nothing to do with my arrest. Thanks,&rsquo; he said in a tweet.
In August, <a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/actor-kamaal-r-khan-arrested-for-controversial-tweet-shared-in-2020-1661836914298">Kamaal R Khan</a> was sent to 14-day judicial custody by the Borivali Court. According to the police, he was held over his controversial social media posts on late actor Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor. FIR was lodged after a complaint from Yuva Sena leader Rahul Kanal on April 30, 2020, in which he alleged that KRK's tweets on Irrfan and Rishi allegedly spread &lsquo;hatred&rsquo;.
Last year, Salman Khan had filed a defamation case against KRK, and a Mumbai court had temporarily restricted KRK from sharing any defamatory posts or videos on the actor.&nbsp;
&lsquo;A good reputation is an element of personal security and is protected by the Constitution equally with the right to the enjoyment of life, liberty and property. If the defendant (Kamaal Khan) is permitted to continue the use of such defamatory words against the plaintiff (Salman Khan) they will cause irreparable loss to the image of plaintiff in the society,&rsquo; the court said.

However, he will continue to stay in jail, as his bail plea is pending before the Borivali magistrate court in another case from 2020. The case is related to his derogatory tweets about Akshay Kumar, filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma, and others.
KRK was apprehended from Mumbai airport on August 30 over his old tweets and sent to judicial custody.
According to news agency PTI, Versova police took KRK’s custody on September 4 in the molestation case and he was produced before the Bandra court.
In his bail plea, which was filed by his lawyers, he said that the contents of the First Information Report (FIR) did not match the alleged molestation incident. He also stated that the Indian Penal Code section invoked against KRK was bailable
The FIR was reportedly registered by the victim’s friend 18 months after the incident. The court allowed KRK's plea.
The molestation case against KRK was reportedly filed in June 2021 based on the complaint of a 27-year-old woman. She alleged that he had called her to his Versova bungalow on the pretext of offering her a role in his film.

‘After Irrfan Khan, who is India's pride, passed away, he was making poor claims and statements on him. He was also talking rubbish about senior actor late Rishi Kapoor also,’ he added.
However, as per Hindustan Times, KRK’s lawyer has claimed that he was arrested for tweets against actor Akshay Kumar and a film producer over the film ‘Laxmi Bomb’.
In his career KRK has contributed to a few Bhojpuri films and just two Hindi films, one is the action-thriller film 'Deshdrohi' and the second is 2014 runaway hit 'Ek Villain', where he had a cameo appearance.

‘We have registered an FIR against Kamal R Khan for making derogatory remarks about both the deceased actors under section 294 (punishment for obscene acts or words in public) and other provisions of the IPC,’ PTI had quoted a senior police official as saying.
Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020 in Mumbai after a prolonged battle with leukaemia. His died less than 24 hours after Irrfan Khan, who died of colon infection on April 29.

National Award-winning&nbsp;Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee&nbsp;filed a criminal defamation complaint against actor Kamaal Rashid Khan alias KRK.
Reports are Manoj filed the plea in an Indore court for posting an alleged derogatory tweet against him.
Confirming the news,&nbsp;Bajpayee's&nbsp;lawyer said that the actor&nbsp;filed the criminal complaint in the court of judicial magistrate first class&nbsp;against Khan under IPC section 500 punishment for defamation &amp; urged the court to register the case in the matter. He added that&nbsp;Bajpayee&nbsp;personally appeared before the court to record his statement in the matter.
The tweet in question was posted by Khan on July 26 and it defamed the actor and tarnished his image among his fans.
