The 46-year-old BRS leader is in judicial custody in the two cases lodged by the ED and the CBI in the alleged scam. According to the ED, out of Rs 1,100 crore, Kavitha was involved in proceeds of crime (PoC) worth Rs 292.8 crore.

The Enforcement Directorate has alleged in its supplementary charge sheet filed against BRS leader K Kavitha before a court in New Delhi that more than Rs 1,100 crore was laundered in the alleged Delhi excise scam.
According to the ED, out of Rs 1,100 crore, Kavitha was involved in proceeds of crime (PoC) worth Rs 292.8 crore.
The allegations were made in a supplementary prosecution complaint, ED&rsquo;s equivalent to a charge sheet, filed before Special Judge Kaveri Beweja, who on Monday extended Kavitha&rsquo;s judicial custody till July 3.
The judge extended the custody after Kavitha was produced before the court in pursuance of its earlier order issuing a production warrant against her.
The court had issued the warrants after taking cognisance of a charge sheet against the BRS leader in the case on May 29.
The court also granted bail to three co-accused persons -- Prince, Damodar and Arvind Singh. The three accused were charge sheeted without being arrested during investigation by the ED.
&ldquo;As per the investigation so far, the total proceeds of crime identified is Rs 1,100 crore, out of which PoC of Rs 292.8 crore is being dealt with in this Prosecution Complaint. Through activities of the accused persons i.e. Kavitha, Champreet Singh, Prince Kumar, Damodar Sharma and Arvind Singh, huge proceeds of crime have been generated,&rdquo; the charge sheet alleged.
The charge sheet claimed that Kavitha was involved in PoC (money generated and laundered in crime) of Rs 292.8 crore, out of which kickbacks of Rs 100 crore were given to AAP leaders.
&ldquo;Kavitha conspired with the members of the South Group and the AAP leaders through accused Vijay Nair (who was acting on behalf of the top leaders of the AAP) to pay kickbacks to the tune of Rs 100 crore and receive undue benefits,&rdquo; the documents claimed.
Kavitha, by paying kickback to the government functionaries through their middleman, has participated in the generation of PoC of Rs 100 crore, the charge sheet claimed, adding that she then participated in the transfer of this PoC to the government functionaries.
The ED further claimed that Kavitha, by way of conspiracy and formation of IndoSpirits, a company accused in the case, has participated in the generation, acquisition and use of the PoC of Rs 192.8 crore, which was derived as a result of the conspiracy of kickbacks and payment of kickbacks.
By showing IndoSpirits as a genuine business entity and acquiring the PoC of Rs 192.8 crore, she is involved in projecting this PoC as genuine profit from a legitimate business, the ED alleged.
&ldquo;By way of participating in the conspiracy of formation of IndoSpirits to recoup advance bribes of Rs 100 crore paid, Kavitha is knowingly involved in the generation and transfer of PoC of Rs 100 crore and the generation, acquisition, and possession of PoC Rs 192.8 crore in the guise of profits generated by IndoSpirits during November 2021 to August 2022,&rdquo; the ED alleged.
Kavitha also received the PoC of Rs 5.5 crore from IndoSpirits in the name of her associate and co-accused in the case, Abhishek Boinpally, the federal agency said.
The report further accused Kavitha of destroying the digital evidence to conceal her role and involvement in the case.
&ldquo;Kavitha has deleted evidence and contents of her mobile phone. She presented nine phones for examination, which were formatted and had no data. She was evasive and couldn't give any explanation for those formatted phones,&rdquo; the ED alleged.
It further alleged that Kavitha was also involved in acts of influencing the witnesses.

The "scam" pertains to alleged corruption and money laundering in the formulation and implementation of the Delhi government's excise policy for 2021-22 which was later scrapped.

A Delhi court on April 8 turned down K Kavitha's interim bail plea in the alleged liquor policy scam case. Kavitha is presently under judicial custody in Tihar jail in money laundering case related to the scam.
The BRS leader was arrested on March 15 in Hyderabad, hours after an Enforcement Directorate team searched the premises and interrogated her.
Special Judge Kaveri Baweja dismissed the plea, saying the stage was not right to enlarge her on interim bail.
Kavitha had approached the court for interim bail, saying her 16-year-old son has exams and needs his mother's "moral and emotional support".
The ED had opposed the submission, claiming Kavitha destroyed evidence and influenced witnesses in the case.
The agency had alleged that Kavitha is a key member of the "South Group", which has been accused of paying the ruling AAP in Delhi kickbacks of Rs 100 crore in return for a big share of liquor licences in the national capital.
Kavitha, 46, was arrested from her Banjara Hills residence on March 15 amid protests by BRS supporters.
She was then sent to seven-day ED custody the next day. Her custodial interrogation was later extended by three days. She was sent to 14-day judicial custody last Tuesday.

The Supreme Court on Friday refused to grant bail to BRS leader K Kavitha, who has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi excise policy case.
A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna, MM Sundresh and Bela M Trivedi asked Kavitha to approach the trial court, saying it is a practice which this court is following and cannot bypass the protocol.
The bench said as far as Kavitha&rsquo;s plea challenging the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) is concerned, the court is issuing notice to the ED and seeking its response in six weeks.
&ldquo;The petition challenging the provisions will come up with the pending matters,&rdquo; the bench told senior advocate Kapil Sibal, appearing for Kavitha.

Kavitha, a member of the Telangana Legislative Council and daughter of former state chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao, was produced before Special Judge for ED cases M K Nagpal, who sent her to the custody of the federal anti-money laundering agency for a week. The ED had sought her custody for 10 days.

While sending her to ED custody, the judge said the need for her custodial interrogation was felt to be there as it has been observed that investigation has come to a halt because of her alleged non-co&shy;operation.
"The involvement of accused in commission of the alleged offence of money laundering and the crucial role played by her are duly reflected from records and the case file produced by IO before this court and the need for her custodial interrogation is also felt to be there as it has been observed that investigation has come to a halt because of non &shy; joining thereof by the accused or her alleged non-co&shy;operation therein and she is required to be interrogated to trace out the trail of a major portion of the proceeds of crime," the judge said.
On accused's arguments that ED violated Supreme Court's directions, the judge said that "effecting arrest of the accused amounts to contempt of any order or not is a question which has to be decided by the Supreme Court itself and not by this court." "Keeping in view the nature of allegations levelled against accused and the role played by her in commission of the alleged offence, there is a need for remanding her to ED custody for the purposes of investigation. Hence, the accused is being remanded to the custody of ED till March 23, 2024 for the purposes of her detailed and sustained interrogation and she shall be produced before this court at 12 pm on that day," the judge said.
The judge further directed that her interrogation shall be conducted at some place having CCTV coverage in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the Supreme Court, and to preserve those footage.
The ED has alleged that Kavitha was a part of the South lobby which paid a bribe of Rs. 100 crore in cash to the politicians or public servants representing the ruling AAP in Delhi, in order to tweak the above excise policy, and she was alleged to have been involved in criminal conspiracy right from its inception.
Her remand came on a day Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appeared before a metropolitan court in connection with two complaints filed by the Enforcement Directorate against him for skipping summons in the money laundering case linked to the alleged excise policy scam.
Kejriwal, who skipped eight ED summonses before turning up at the court, was granted bail. His senior party colleagues-Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh-are in jail for their alleged involvement in formulating and implementing the excise policy 2020-21 which drastically raised the profit margins of liquor wholesalers and retailers. The ED has claimed Delhi's ruling dispensation extended them the favour in return for money.
While being produced before the judge, Kavitha termed her arrest as illegal and asserted, "We will fight it out in court." During the hearing, senior advocate Vikram Chaudhari, appearing for Kavitha along with advocate Nitesh Rana, told the judge her arrest was "illegal".
The counsel also accused the federal anti-money laundering agency of flouting the Supreme Court direction while arresting her. They claimed the apex court had directed the ED to not take any coercive action against Kavitha before it hears her plea against the summons issued by the agency to her on March 19.
"It is a black day that SC orders are violated, that an officer thinks he/she is above law," the counsel told the court.
The ED, however, said it has not made any statement before a court, including the Supreme Court, that no coercive action will be taken against Kavitha.
"There is enough evidence, witnesses' statements against K Kavitha in the case," the ED said.
The agency also accused Kavitha of destructing evidence in the case.
"We have summoned several witnesses to confront K Kavitha with," the agency told the court.
Though Kavitha has not been named as an accused in any charge sheet filed by the ED, the agency has claimed she was a key figure of the 'South Group' who made benami investments in beneficiary liquor companies.&nbsp;

An ED official is heard telling him that legal remedies are available.
KTR then alleged that he was not being allowed inside Kavitha's house.
"Madam Bhanu Priya Meena (ED official) says search is completed (and) arrest warrant is issued, but they don't have a transit warrant. And now she says family cannot come in?" KTR asks the ED officials.&nbsp;
"So you c an't produce her before a magistrate. How can you make a case?"
A transit warrant is a judicial magistrate's directive sought by the police for taking the accused from one place to another in their own custody.
The timing of Kavitha's arrest coincided with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's roadshow in the Hyderabad suburb of Malkajgiri on Friday.
