Singer Justin Bieber, whose concert was to be held in New Delhi on October 18 this year, has officially been called off due to his health issues. The organisers of the mega concert confirmed the news, days after assuring fans that the concert will happen.
An official statement was issued by BookMyShow on Thursday, confirming the update. ‘We are extremely disappointed to share that the 'Justin Bieber Justice World Tour - India' scheduled for October 18th, 2022 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi has been cancelled owing to the singer's health condition. We have just been informed that due to health concerns, he will unfortunately not be able to make it next month. Along with New Delhi in India, the artist has also cancelled other stops in the tour's run-up to the India show including Chile, Argentina, Brazil, South Africa, Bahrain, UAE and Israel," BookMyShow's spokesperson said.
BookMyShow also confirmed that they would refund the ticket amount to people.
‘BookMyShow has already initiated a full and complete refund of the ticket amount for all consumers who had purchased tickets for the show. The complete refund will be reflected within 10 working days in the customer's source account of the original transaction. We deeply regret the inconvenience caused but we promise, there is a lot more music and live entertainment coming your way, soon,’ the statement read.
Last week, Justin took to social media and announced that he is taking a break from performing indefinitely, and cancelling his Justice Tour. This concert would have marked Bieber's second visit to India. He had performed in Mumbai as part of his Purpose World Tour in 2017.

As the result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North America leg of the Justice Tour. After resting and consulting with my doctors, family and team, I went to Europe in an effort to continue with the tour. I performed six live shows, but it took a real toll on me. This past weekend, I performed at Rock In Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil. After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realised I need to make my health the priority right now. So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better. I’ve been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support throughout all of this! I love you all passionately.’  
In June this year, the 'Baby' singer had pushed back the North American leg of his tour after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome that caused him partial facial paralysis. He resumed his tour in July and the singer performed six live shows in Europe and at the Rock in Rio festival in Brazil this weekend.  
Justin was scheduled to perform at New Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (JLN Stadium) on October 18, 2022 as a part of his world tour.

Hollywood singer Justin Bieber has shocking news for his fans. The pop artist has revealed that he is suffering from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome which has caused him partial facial paralysis.
Following his diagnosis, the 28-year-old singer has paused his Justice World Tour. Sharing a video on his Instagram handle, Justin showed his 240 million followers how he is unable to move the right side of his face.
"As you can see, this eye is not blinking, I can't smile on this side of my face, this nostril will not move," Bieber explained in a video.
According to medical experts, Ramsay Hunt syndrome occurs when a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve near the ears.
He further asked his fans to be patient and said about his forthcoming shows that he is "physically, obviously, not capable of doing them".
Bieber added that he is doing facial exercises to "get back to normal", but he is not sure as how long will it take for him to recover.
