The three players will now be available for the team's&nbsp;&nbsp;first IPL&nbsp;match against CSK&nbsp;on September 22. The&nbsp;English players arrived in UAE&nbsp;on September 17, along with 18 other English and Australian IPL-bound players who were involved in a bilateral limited over series in UK.&nbsp; Earlier&nbsp;BCCI&nbsp;reduced the quarantine period for the 21 players to 36 hours to ensure that they were available for their respective upcoming IPL matches.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Steve Smith suffers 2nd head injury in a span of 1 year

The star Australian batsman suffered a similar injury last year when he was knocked out by a Jofra&nbsp;Archer bouncer.

Star Australian batsman Steve Smith was left out of the 1st ODI&nbsp;vs England on Friday after getting hit on his head by a ball during a net session. Cricket Australia in a statement said that Smith was hit by a member of the coaching staff during throw downs on Thursday and the former captain was ruled of the opening game as a precautionary measure. Smith is&nbsp;being assessed for concussion. This is the second such injury to to the 31-year-old in a span of 1 year.&nbsp;In August 2019, Smith took a nasty blow on his head, when he&nbsp;was knocked out by a Jofra&nbsp;Archer bouncer during the Ashes. He was forced to miss the 3rd Test due to concussion.
