Jamie Foxx has finally opened up about his mysterious illness which led to his hospitalization for weeks last year. The 56-year-old actor faced a serious health condition on April 11, 2023. The actor reportedly received treatment at a Chicago rehabilitation centre. Foxx didn&rsquo;t reveal much about the episode until now. &nbsp;
<h2>Jamie Foxx on 'mystery illness'</h2>
The Hollywood actor shared details of his condition in a fan video. In the viral clip, Fox is seen in conversation with a group of people and talking about his mysterious health condition. He said that it started with a &lsquo;bad headache&rsquo;. &ldquo;Look, April 11 last year, bad headache, asked my boy for an Advil. I was gone 20 days. Don&rsquo;t remember anything,&rdquo; Foxx said.&nbsp;
He further mentioned that his sister and daughter took him to multiple doctors in Atlanta. &ldquo;I&rsquo;m in Atlanta, they told me. My sister, my daughter took me to the first doctor. Next doctor said, &lsquo;There&rsquo;s something going on up there,&rdquo; he revealed. &nbsp; After the initial treatment in Atlanta, the Hollywood star was reportedly shifted to a specialist facility in Chicago. Later in August, Foxx updated his fans on Instagram and wrote, &ldquo;finally starting to feel like myself... it&rsquo;s been an unexpected dark journey... but I can see the light.&rdquo;&nbsp;

Earlier in July 2023, Foxx had acknowledged his mysterious health condition in an Instagram post. He said, &ldquo;I went through something that I though I would never, ever go through,&rdquo; before adding, &ldquo;I know a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear updates, and to be honest with yuo- I just didn&rsquo;t want you to see me like that.&nbsp;
Before Fox, his daughter Corrine acknowledged his illness on social media in April, 2023. She wrote, &ldquo;We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.&rdquo;&nbsp;

Actor Jamie Foxx, who has been sued for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at a bar in New York in 2015, has refuted the allegations against him.
A spokesperson for the actor told PEOPLE in a statement that &lsquo;the alleged incident never happened.&rsquo;
Jamie Foxx intends to pursue legal action against the woman who accused him.
The statement from the actor&rsquo;s representative read, &lsquo;In 2020, this individual filed a nearly identical lawsuit in Brooklyn. That case was dismissed shortly thereafter, the claims are no more viable today than they were then. We are confident they will be dismissed again. And once they are, Mr Foxx intends to pursue a claim for malicious prosecution against this person and her attorneys for re-filing this frivolous action (sic).;
The complainant accused Foxx of taking her to a secluded corner, rubbing her breasts and groping her under her pants against her will at the Catch restaurant rooftop in New York City.
As detailed in the lawsuit reported by Variety, the woman and her friend were seated near Jamie Foxx at a table, accompanied by bar owner Mark Birnbaum. Around 1 am, the woman's friend approached Foxx for a photo. Allegedly, the actor began praising her appearance, mentioning her &lsquo;super-model body&rsquo; and &lsquo;pleasant fragrance.&rsquo; According to the complaint cited by Dailymail, the accuser alleges that Foxx appeared intoxicated and compared her appearance to Gabrielle Union's.
As stated in the lawsuit, a security guard reportedly observed the groping incident but did not intervene. The woman's friend intervened to assist her when she discovered the situation, after which Foxx left the scene. The legal action further claims that the woman required medical attention due to the alleged assault. Seeking recompense for pain, emotional distress, anxiety, and humiliation, the lawsuit lists Birnbaum and Catch NYC as defendants.

Actor Jamie Foxx is facing charges of sexual assault in a lawsuit filed in the New York State Supreme Court. According to the complaint obtained by CNN, the alleged incident took place in 2015 at Catch NYC, a popular restaurant in New York City.
In the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that Foxx &lsquo;intentionally and without consent used force to offensively touch Plaintiff&rsquo;s person,&rsquo; involving groping her breasts and genitals. The complaint also suggests that Foxx appeared to be &lsquo;intoxicated&rsquo; during the incident.
Consequently, the complaint alleges that the woman suffered and continues to suffer from &lsquo;physical and emotional injuries, anxiety, distress, embarrassment, and economic harm.&rsquo; She is seeking an unspecified amount in damages.
The plaintiff is also suing the restaurant's parent company, Catch Hospitality Group, and related entities for negligent hiring, training, and supervision.
The lawsuit was filed under New York's Adult Survivors Act, enacted in late November 2022. This law allows adult survivors of sexual abuse to pursue legal action against their abusers in New York, even if the statute of limitations on their claims has expired.
The law grants adult survivors of sexual assault a one-year window to file lawsuits against their perpetrators, set to expire on Friday.
This is not the first time that Jamie Foxx has been accused of harassment. During the MeToo movement, a woman accused Jamie of sexually harassing her, which he denied.
Earlier this year, Foxx experienced a medical incident that led to hospitalization in Atlanta due to an undisclosed condition. The Oscar-winner spoke about his recovery for the first time in July.
Later, he got in trouble for his seemingly anti-semitic post on social media.
Jamie Foxx reacted to the backlash and apologised to the Jewish community stating, &lsquo;I know my choice of words have caused offense and I&rsquo;m sorry. That was never my intention.'
He further went on to clarify, &lsquo;I was betrayed by a fake friend and that&rsquo;s what I meant with 'they' not anything more. I only have love in my heart for everyone. I love and support the Jewish community.&rsquo;
