One of the largest studies involving&nbsp;Ivermectin, the drug that was being administered worldwide&nbsp;to treat Covid&nbsp;patients,&nbsp;has been withdrawn&nbsp;amid&nbsp;concerns of plagiarism and problems with their raw data.
Editor-in-chief of Research Square, said the study was retracted on July 14, after they were given evidence of both plagiarism and anomalies in the data set associated with the study.&nbsp;The study has been included in two recent meta-analyses that received much attention for their positive results.
A team from&nbsp;University of Liverpool in England, which conducted a randomised controlled trial from samples in Argentina, found no role of Ivermectin in preventing hospitalization in patients with Covid-19.
