<h2>Who is ISIS-Khorasan&nbsp;?</h2>

<li>The Islamic State Khorasan, or ISIS-K, is the Afghan offshoot of the Islamic State terror group ISIS.&nbsp;</li>
<li>The Islamic State Khorasan formed in late 2014 and operates as an ISIS affiliate in Afghanistan as well as Pakistan.</li>
<li>The founding members included militants who left both the Afghan <a href="https://www.editorji.com/story/amrullah-saleh-taliban-not-allowing-food-fuel-into-resistance-stronghold-1629778623501" target="_blank">Taliban</a> and the Pakistani Taliban.</li>
<li>The regional affiliate is governed with a strict interpretation of Islamic law.</li>
