Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who recently bagged an International Emmy nomination for his performance in Sudhir Mishra&rsquo;s&nbsp;film &lsquo;Serious Men&rsquo;, feels that more than nepotism, the Bollywood&nbsp;has a racism problem.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, the 47-year-old actor opened up, saying he himself fought racism in the industry for years,&nbsp;and has been rejected just because he does not fit a certain mould, as expected from a Bollywood star.
Nawaz added that the issue is not even entirely about skin colour, he said there is a bias that exists in the industry which needs to end, for better films to be made.&nbsp;He added, he hopes that dark-skinned actresses are cast as heroines.

Based on&nbsp;Manu Joseph&rsquo;s novel by the same name,&nbsp;Sudhir Mishra's film stars Nawazuddin&nbsp;Siddiqui&nbsp;in the lead.
The film revolves around the life of an&nbsp;ambitious underachiever&nbsp;who plans to encash his son's&nbsp;fame to improve his family's fortunes.
Film also stars&nbsp;Aakshath Das, Shweta Basu Prasad and Nassar,&nbsp;Indira Tiwari&nbsp;and will premiere on Netflix&nbsp;on October 2.
