All Indians in Tehran were on Tuesday advised to move out of the city to safe locations and be in touch with the embassy, as the conflict between Iran and Israel intensified.
"All Indian Nationals who are in Tehran and not in touch with the Embassy are requested to contact the Embassy of India in Tehran immediately and provide their Location and Contact numbers. Kindly contact: +989010144557; +989128109115; +989128109109," the Embassy of India in Tehran said in a post on X.

The Indian mission also advised all Indian nationals and Person of Indian Origin who can move out of Tehran using their own resources, to move to a safe location outside the city.
The post came as the conflict between Israel and Iran intensified as they traded strikes on a fifth day.
US President Donald Trump left the G7 summit in Canada a day early to rush back to Washington. Trump also warned Iranians to evacuate Tehran, underscoring the danger to its 10 million residents.
The Ministry of External Affairs New Delhi said a 24x7 Control Room has been established in the ministry in view of the ongoing developments in Iran and Israel.

In addition, the Embassy of India in Tehran has set up a 24x7 emergency helpline with contact.

Israel attacked Iran early Friday targeting its nuclear, missile and military infrastructure. Iran later launched retaliatory strikes on Israel.
Earlier, all Indian nationals &amp; persons of Indian origin in Iran were requested to remain vigilant, avoid all unnecessary movements, follow the Embassy&rsquo;s social media accounts and observe safety protocols as advised by local authorities.

Perera, aged 47, had traveled to Jordan on a visitor visa before making the attempt to enter Israel.

An Indian national from Kerala, identified as Thomas Gabriel Perera, was allegedly shot and killed by Jordanian soldiers while attempting to cross into Israel illegally, sources report. The tragic incident occurred on February 10.
The Indian Embassy in Jordan confirmed the death, expressing its condolences over the "sad demise of an Indian national in unfortunate circumstances." The embassy is coordinating with Perera's family and Jordanian authorities to arrange the repatriation of his remains, as announced on X.
Perera, aged 47, had traveled to Jordan on a visitor visa before making the attempt to enter Israel. His relative, Edison, also from Menamkulam, was shot while trying to cross the border but survived. After receiving medical treatment, Edison was returned to India.
This incident unfolds amidst increasing violence in the West Bank and the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.

The government has asked its citizens in Iran or Israel to get in touch with Indian Embassies there.

India on Friday asked its citizens not to travel to Iran or Israel amid escalating tensions between the two countries following a strike on the Iranian consulate in Syria 11 days ago.
Iran blamed Israel for the strike and there have been fears that Tehran may launch an attack on Israel soon.
In an advisory, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) also urged the Indians residing in Iran and Israel to exercise utmost precautions about their safety and restrict their movements to minimum.
"In view of the prevailing situation in the region, all Indians are advised not to travel to Iran or Israel till further notice," it said.
"All those who are currently residing in Iran or Israel are requested to get in touch with Indian Embassies there and register themselves," the MEA said.
"They are also requested to observe utmost precautions about their safety and restrict their movements to the minimum," it added.&nbsp;
