Here are some tasks to complete to get your Income tax refund on time:
- Tax refunds will be credited only to those bank accounts which are linked with PAN and are also pre-validated on the income tax e-filing website
- If your bank is integrated with the e-filing portal, pre-validation can be done directly through Electronic Verification Code (EVC) and net-banking route
- Before, Pre-Validating your Bank Account make sure that your PAN is linked to Bank account, the mobile number is linked to Bank account, and Name in bank account shall match the name in income-tax records.

In a statement tweeted by the actor, he said, he has pledged himself to the service of the people with all his strength&nbsp;and heart.
He added, that every rupee that is sent to the Sonu Sood Foundation is used to save a precious life or reach the needy. He went on to say that he has also encouraged brands to donate his endorsement fees for humanitarian causes.
After visiting his Mumbai home for three days in a row, Income Tax officials on Sunday said that Sood has evaded taxes of over ₹20 crore. The tax department also said Sood's non-profit raised ₹2.1 crore from overseas donors using a crowdfunding platform which is in violation of the law.
The I-T depart said, there have been instances where Sood's professional receipts have been camouflaged as loans in the books of accounts for the purpose of evasion of tax, adding that these bogus loans have been used for making investments and acquiring properties. 
The ruling Shiv Sena in Maharashtra and the Aam Aadmi Party have questioned the timing of the searches at Sonu Sood's home. The BJP has said there is no link between Sood's tie-up with AAP and the searches.

India's tech giant,&nbsp;Infosys on Saturday said the company been able to address several technological glitches on the new income tax filing platform and that nearly one lakh income tax returns have been filed through the new portal so far.
Infosys chief operating officer Pravin Rao said the company will work with stakeholders over the next few weeks to resolve all the issues with the new portal. Several technical glitches raised initially in the&nbsp;Infosys' new Income Tax e-filing portal,&nbsp;&nbsp;with many users posting tweets tagging the Finance Minister.&nbsp;Infosys is set to meet with the government on the tax portal issues on June 22.
In 2019, Infosys was awarded a contract to develop the next-generation income tax filing system to reduce processing time for returns from 63 days to one day and expedite refunds.

The date for filing of individual income tax returns for FY 2019-20 has been extended for another month till December 31. The finance ministry said in the statement that for the&nbsp;taxpayers whose accounts need to be audited, the ITR&nbsp;deadline has been extended by two months till January 31, next year. Centre had&nbsp;in May extended the date for filing ITR for FY2019-20 from July 31 to November 30, in a major relief to taxpayers.
