Apple is planning series of Mac launches, including new MacBook Air, MacBook&nbsp;Pro, Mac Pro, and iMac&nbsp;Pro models, with a wave of new Apple Silicon chipsets.

According to report from Mark Gurman in Bloomberg, Apple is all set to unveil new MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and Mac Mini models at their rumoured March 8 spring launch event. The new Mac models would all be powered by the upcoming Apple M2 chip, the successor to the Apple M1.
The same event is likely to see the launch of the 2022 iPhone SE with 5G support, and a new iPad Air.
Gurman says that Apple is now entering the third phase of its transition from Intel&rsquo;s x86-based processors to ARM-based Apple Silicon chipsets. He expects Apple to launch new Mac models based on the new Apple M2 chip, and a super-powered version of the M1 Max chipset, along with the current M1, M1 Pro, and M1 Max offerings.
Apple could also launch a second wave of Mac models around May or June. In total, Gurman expects Apple to launch multiple models of MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac mini, and iMac Pro in 2022.

<h2>Apple M2 to launch in March</h2>
The new Apple M2 chip could power a new baseline MacBook Pro, a new Mac Mini, a new iMac, and a redesigned MacBook Air. The company could also launch a Mac Mini with an M1 Pro chip inside, and an iMac Pro with M1 Pro and M1 Max chip options. Apple could also launch a new Mac Pro desktop computer, around half the size of the current offering, with a new Apple Silicon chipset inside touted to be as powerful as four M1 Max chips.
The Apple M2 chipset will retain the eight-core architecture of the M1, but will be a bit faster. It will reportedly feature much better graphical processing capabilities, with a 9 or 10 core GPU. The M2 Pro and M2 Max chipsets could be launched in 2023, along with a supposed Apple M3 chipset.

Apple has launched several new products at its 20th April &lsquo;Spring Loaded&rsquo; event. Apple has launched new iPad Pro models, with the powerful new in-house M1 chip. While the 11-inch model features the same Liquid Retina ProMotion display as the previous model, the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro gets a Liquid Retina XDR display that uses mini-LED technology. The new iPad Pros also get 5G connectivity with the cellular models, and pricing starts at ₹71,900 for the 11-inch model. The new iPad Pros can be ordered in India from 30th April, with availability from the second half of May.
Apple has also launched a new redesigned iMac, that comes with a flat aluminium frame and glass front. It sports a 24-inch 4.5K Retina display and runs on the latest M1 chip, with support for up to 16GB unified memory and up to 2TB of SSD storage. There's a new 1080p FaceTime HD camera with an M1 image signal processor on the front along with a six-speaker system with spatial audio and Dolby Atmos. The new 24-inch iMac starts from ₹1,19,000, and can be ordered from 30th April, with availability from the second half of May.
Apple also unveiled a new colour finish for the iPhone 12 and 12 mini--Purple. Both phones can be pre-ordered in the new colour from April 23, starting at ₹69,900 for the iPhone 12 mini.
Along with all the new products, Apple has also launched AirTag, that can help locate your personal belongings using Apple's 'Find My' feature. AirTag uses Ultra Wideband technology that can let compatible iPhones navigate to them, using a built-in speaker. The AirTag costs ₹3,190 for a single unit, and ₹10,900 for a pack of 4. AirTag can be ordered in India from 5:30PM IST on April 23.

Apple plans to revive its 12-inch MacBook model with its ARM-powered chip later this year, according to a report published in The China Times. Apple's first ARM-based Mac will run A14X processor, codenamed &lsquo;Tonga&rsquo;, and will reportedly weigh less than one kilogram. The same report also mentions a new iMac is coming next year that is also powered by Apple Silicon and a custom Apple-made GPU, codenamed &lsquo;Lifuka&rsquo;.
