Barcelona on Monday confirmed the signing of Ilkay Gundogan from Manchester City.
The treble-winning captain turned down the chance to stay at City and will join Barca, who have set his buyout clause at &euro;400m, until 2025 following the expiration of his existing contract.
G&uuml;ndogan, who was the first signing of manager Pep Guardiola in July 2016, signed off in style by lifting the Champions League earlier this month after victory over Inter in his 304th and final appearance.
During his seven years at City, Gundogan won the Premier League five times, in addition to two FA Cups &ndash; this season scoring the quickest goal in final history at 12 seconds &ndash; four League Cups and the Champions League.

The midfielder is the 3rd Manchester City player to test positive for Covid-19

Manchester City have confirmed that&nbsp;midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has tested positive for Covid-19 and is currently in a ten-day period of self-isolation.&nbsp;The Germany international missed Monday night's English Premier League game against the Wolves and will also sit out of the&nbsp;Carabao Cup game against Bournemouth on Thursday. The 29-year-old is also expected to miss Sunday's league match against Leicester City.&nbsp;Gundogan is the third City player to test positive for the virus, with&nbsp;&nbsp;Aymeric Laporte and Riyad Mahrez, who returned to training last week after their own periods of self-isolation.
