Actor Ileana D&rsquo;Cruz, who welcomed her son Koi Phoenix Dolan on August 1, shared a new picture with her newborn on Instagram. Sharing the photo, Ileana wrote, &lsquo;1 week of being your Mama (red heart emoji).&rsquo;
In the closeup picture, Koi Phoenix is seen holding Ileana's finger as she holds his hand.
Ileana shared the news of her son&rsquo;s birth on August 5 alongside a picture of the baby.
She wrote, &lsquo;No words could explain how happy we are to welcome our darling boy to the world. Hearts beyond full&rsquo;.
Soon after the actor announced the news, her friends and fans posted congratulatory messages in the comment section.
Actor Nargis Fakhri commented, &lsquo;Omg congrats!!!!!! GOD BLESS!!! Leo boy.&rsquo; Arjun Kapoor, Huma Qureshi were among others who congratulated the new mom.
Ileana D&rsquo;Cruz announced her pregnancy in April this year. She recently shared photographs of her partner on social media.
According to a DNA report, Ileana tied the knot with Michael Dolan on May 13 this year, four weeks before she announced her pregnancy on social media.
On the work front, Ileana D&rsquo;Cruz was last seen in the music video of rapper Badshah's song &lsquo;Sab Gazab&rsquo;.
Her last movie appearance was in &lsquo;The Big Bull&rsquo;, alongside Abhishek Bachchan. Her forthcoming projects include the film &lsquo;Unfair and Lovely&rsquo; with Randeep Hooda.

On June 10, Ileana shared a blurry picture with her boyfriend along with a long note on her pregnancy journey.
She wrote, &lsquo;Being pregnant is such a beautiful beautiful blessing&hellip;I didn&rsquo;t think I&rsquo;d be fortunate enough to ever experience this so I consider myself so incredibly lucky to be on this journey. I can&rsquo;t even begin to describe how lovely it is to feel a life growing inside of you. Most days I&rsquo;m just overwhelmed staring down at my bump going wow - I get to meet you soon.&rsquo;
She added, &lsquo;- and then there&rsquo;s some days that are so inexplicably hard. So trying. They&rsquo;re overwhelming. All consuming. And things just feel hopeless. And there&rsquo;s tears. Then follows the guilt. And this voice in my head puts me down. I should be thankful, not be crying over something so trivial. I should be stronger. What kind of mother will I be if I&rsquo;m not strong enough&hellip;&rsquo;
She concluded her post by saying, &lsquo;And I don&rsquo;t know what kind of mother I will be. I really don&rsquo;t. All I do know is that I love this little human so darned much already I could explode. And for now - I think that&rsquo;s enough. And on the days I forget be kind to myself, this lovely man has been my rock. He&rsquo;s held me when he feels me starting to crack. And wipes the tears away. And cracks goofy jokes to make me smile. Or just offers a hug when he knows that&rsquo;s exactly what I need in that moment. And everything doesn&rsquo;t seem so hard anymore.&rsquo;
Ileana D&rsquo;Cruz recently featured in Badshah and Goldkartz song, &lsquo;Sab Gazab&rsquo;.

When a fan asked, &lsquo;You worried you are gonna gain weight?&rsquo; She responded, &lsquo;Ok so this question would initially really trigger me. And I think it's because so many people comment on your weight when you're having a baby. It doesn't help when you go to your doctor checkups and they have to weigh you in every time so it's consistently on your mind. Let me just say I've loved how my body has changed these past few months.&rsquo;
She added, &lsquo;It's such a miraculous wondrous humbling journey. And yes I'm human and there are days I don't feel great. But I have an amazing support system and people that love me and remind me that I am making a literal little human inside me! So 'weight' does not matter. Don't go by what the 'ideal amount of weight gain' should be during your pregnancy. Stay as happy as you can. As healthy as you can. And listen to your body! Do what feels right to you (red heart emoji).&rsquo;
A fan also asked about her weirdest cravings and the actor replied, &lsquo;Mini carrots. Straight out of the bag (laughing emoji). Another fan asked her what is she craving for the most, ice cream or pizza. On this, she replied, &lsquo;Honestly, just good old Indian food! Haven't had a good butter chicken and naan in a while. Miss the food in Bombay.&rsquo;
