The 22nd edition of the much-awaited International Indian Film Academy (<a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/iifa-awards-2022-ananya-panday-sara-ali-khan-salman-khan-and-others-attend-the-press-conference-1654318321413" target="_blank">IIFA</a>) 2022 was held on June 3 and June 4 in Abu Dhabi. While &lsquo;IIFA Rocks&rsquo; event was held on 3rd June, the main awards night took place on June 4.
It was Vicky Kaushal and Kriti Sanon who bagged the &lsquo;Best Actor&rsquo; and &lsquo;Best Actress&rsquo; awards for their stellar performances in &lsquo;Sardar Udham&rsquo; and &lsquo;Mimi&rsquo; respectively.

Best Music (tie) - AR Rahman (&lsquo;Atrangi Re), and Tanishk Bagchi, Jasleen Royal, Javed-Mohsin, Vikram Montrose, B Praak and Jaani (&lsquo;Shershaah&rsquo;)
Best Lyrics - Kausar Munir (for the song 'Lehra Do' from the film &lsquo;83&rsquo;)
Best Story Original - Anurag Basu (&lsquo;Ludo&rsquo;)
The Shoojit&nbsp;Sircar-directed 'Sardar Udham&rsquo; topped the technical awards. It was followed by Aanand L Rai's &lsquo;Atrangi Re&rsquo;, &lsquo;Shershaah&rsquo;, &lsquo;Thappad&rsquo;, &lsquo;Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior&rsquo; and Kabir Khan's &lsquo;83&rsquo; among others.
The &lsquo;IIFA Rocks&rsquo; which was attended by the who&rsquo;s who of Bollywood, was a roaring success. The event included a musical evening, fashion show and lots of gags, thus keeping the audience entertained.

International Indian Film Academy Awards 2022 is back with a bang! This time the gala awards will be held in Abu Dhabi. Several celebs including Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan, Salman Khan, Nora Fatehi, Jacqueline Fernandez and others have made their grand appearance at the press conference which was held on June 3, 2022.
The much-awaited awards night of the year has been organised after two years as they were postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 
The main event which has been scheduled for June 4, 2022, and will be hosted by Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, and Maniesh Paul.
The who’s who of Bollywood graced the green carpet with style. Pop artists like YoYoHoneySingh, Guru Randhawa, Neha Kakkar and Dhvani Bhanushali were among other celebs who impressed the audience with their starry performances.
The 22nd IIFA awards are scheduled to be held from 3-4 June 2022.
