Disney Star has bagged the global cricket rights once again for the next four years.
The International Cricket Council has confirmed that Disney Star has won the TV and digital rights for both men's and women's global events till 2027.
According to sources, Disney Star won the rights with a bid of $3 billion but the ICC is yet to disclose the winning value.
While there were other solid contenders in the form of Viacom 18, Sony Sports and Zee Network, Star's bid was reportedly much higher than all of them.

Thailand has been eyeing their maiden appearance at an ODI world Cup along with future opportunities in the formant.
