Once an icon of women empowerment, K-pop idol Hyuna is facing hate since she announced marriage with boyfriend Yong Junghyung in July. It is because Junghyung&rsquo;s involvement in the &lsquo;Burning Sun Scandal&rsquo; where multiple Korean idols were found involved.&nbsp;
Despite the criticism, HyunA shared a series of pictures from her pre-wedding shoot on Instagram. However, the two posts also received similar hate comments and harsh criticism. HyunA&rsquo;s agency AT AREA has stepped in and said that the company has decided to take strong legal action. The agency will be filing a lawsuit against continuous personal attacks and malicious comments. &nbsp;
Besides his involvement in the Burning Sun Scandal, fans are also furious with HyunA&rsquo;s relationship with Yong Junhyung because he used to date Goo Hara, the late K-pop idol who played a significant role in exposing the scandal. HyunA and Goo Hara were reportedly friends before the latter decided to end her life by committing suicide. Fans are disappointed in HyunA as they see her decision to marry Junhyung as a betrayal. &nbsp;

South Korean artists HyunA and Yong Junhyung are reportedly set to marry this year. They publicly acknowledged their relationship in January and have openly shown their love and support for each other since. They confirmed their commitment on Instagram with a shared photo and a heartfelt emoji.
According to local media outlet YTN, HyunA and Yong Junhyung intend to host their wedding ceremony on October 11, 2024, in Seoul, in a private setting. Sources close to them suggest they are confident in their relationship and prepared to embark on this next chapter together.
&lsquo;They have been friends for a long time, and they understand the hardships of life in the entertainment industry. They have strong trust in and empathy for each other. After they became a couple, I think they decided to get married due to their confidence in each other&rsquo;s love,&rsquo; stated a Koreaboo report quoting a source.
Meanwhile, Yong Junhyung&rsquo;s agency, BLACK MADE, initially responded to the reports by stating they were investigating the situation.

Former labelmates under Cube Entertainment, HyunA and Yong Junhyung confirmed their relationship on January 18, 2024, sharing a photo of them holding hands on Instagram. HyunA later expressed on Jo Hyun-ah&rsquo;s Thursday Night how dating has positively impacted her work, stating, &lsquo;I am grateful to have met someone who gives me courage in my career.&rsquo;
Before this relationship, HyunA had separated from her longtime partner Dawn in November 2022. Junhyung debuted with Cube Entertainment in the group BEAST, while HyunA, after leaving JYP Entertainment, also joined Cube with 4MINUTE.

Recently, HyunA made a comeback after a two-year break with her mini-album Attitude, released on May 2. Yong Junhyung also returned with his EP Beautiful Dystopia in March this year.
