To discuss the societal conditioning of men to hide their vulnerability, the actor also narrated a personal incident involving his grandfather.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On Wednesday, Hrithik took to his Instagram account to share that he had suffered a muscle pull. The actor shared a mirror selfie where he can be seen standing with the support of crutches. Hrithik wrote, "Good afternoon. How many of you out there ever needed to be on crutches or a wheelchair, and how did that make you feel? (sic)."</p>
<p>The actor then narrated a personal story and revealed, "I remember my grandfather refusing to sit on a wheelchair at the airport because it wouldn&rsquo;t align with his own mental image of himself as "strong." I remember saying, &ldquo;But Deda, it's just an injury and nothing to do with how old you are! It will help heal the injury and not damage it further.&rdquo; It made me so sad to see how strong he needed to be just to hide the fear and embarrassment on the inside. I couldn&rsquo;t make sense of it. It made me feel helpless. I argued that the age factor is not applicable because he needs a wheelchair for an injury, not his old age. He refused and kept the strong image on display for strangers (who literally didn&rsquo;t care). It worsened his pain and delayed the healing."</p>
<p>He asserted, "But if you say soldiers never need crutches, and even when they medically do, they must refuse, just for the sake of keeping the illusion of strength intact, then I just think that the virtue has been stretched so far that it borders on plain stupidity. I believe true strength is being relaxed, composed, and fully aware that nothing&mdash;not crutches, not a wheelchair, not any inability or vulnerability&mdash;and certainly not any sitting position can lessen or alter the image of that giant that you are on the inside."</p>
<p>He added, "Strength is not always being Rambo against all odds with a machine gun saying &ldquo;f**k em!&rdquo; That&rsquo;s applicable, sure. Sometimes. And it&rsquo;s the kind we all aspire for. Even me. But the more coveted one is strength when there is no one to fight on the outside. It&rsquo;s that quiet fight on the inside between you and the &ldquo;image&rdquo; of you. If you come out of that one feeling like wanting to do a slow dance by yourself, then you&rsquo;re my hero."</p>

<p>He shared, &lsquo;I had to do three transformations, one just to check if I still have the ability before the film started, then did another when the film was on the floor, and then they had to cancel the shoot because of the weather conditions where they had to shoot. Then, I went on my summer break with my boys and when I came back I had to do the third transformation in 6-8 weeks. It was incredibly difficult and I had to shoot three songs back to back while I was doing transformation, which meant there was no fuel and I was just running on steam.&rsquo;</p>
<p>He added, &lsquo;When the day came and my body shot got done, it got over, I was so happy and relieved. But nothing was filling me up. I had gajar ka halwa, ice cream, I had not planned for the reward, I had only planned to be in this Fighter flight mode and get this done&rsquo;</p>
<p>He continued, &lsquo;I was like, &lsquo;What do I do? What do I do?&rsquo;. So, I picked up a cigarette and started smoking. I went into the other deep end and that&rsquo;s a learning in itself because, in one week, my resting heart rate went up from 45 to 75. It&rsquo;s that bad for you. So, I stopped. But it was a disaster. We only plan, schedule and brainstorm about the building, but what happens after the victory? That also needs a plan.&rsquo;</p>

<p>Gearing up for the release of his film &lsquo;Fighter&rsquo;, actor Hrithik Roshan shared a video of the Indian Air Force band covering &lsquo;Fighter&rsquo; theme song. A proud Hrithik took to twitter and wrote, &ldquo;The Indian Air Force band&rsquo;s powerfully rousing rendition of the Spirit of Fighter theme echoes in the skies and makes out hearts soar. Truly an honour!&rdquo;</p>
<p>Composed by Vishal and Shekhar, the track from the film &lsquo;Fighter&rsquo; is based on &lsquo;Vande Mataram&rsquo;. &nbsp;The IAF band made use of several musical instruments in this cover of the song. The energetic performance of the IAF band gained a lot of attention from social media users.</p>
<p>Dedicating their film to the IAF officers, team &lsquo;Fighter&rsquo; honoured the IAF officers in New Delhi by holding an exclusive and special screening of their film ahead of the nationwide release. Hrithik along with the director and other actors of the film reached Delhi. Hrithik and Deepika twinned in all-black outfits. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Actor Hrithik Roshan, who is celebrating his 50th birthday, received a warm surprise from his mother Pinkie Roshan. Pinkie shared a lengthy note dedicated to her son on Instagram along with an unseen photo of the actor from his childhood days and a still from &lsquo;Fighter&rsquo;.</p>
<p>Pinkie walked down memory lane, and wrote, &lsquo;These 2 photos represent the same pure soul with a golden heart. From 5 months to 50, your journey may be shared across celluloid and social media to millions but those who know and love you, we know that you&rsquo;ve always been larger than life. You have spent 50 years on this Earth, bringing joy to so many yet I have known you from the moment you were a heartbeat and the immense happiness you radiated was felt exclusively and purely within me. Many nights I&rsquo;d sleep with my heartbeat singing its lullaby and soothing yours as it grew within my spirit.&rsquo;</p>

<p>Known for his good looks and super chiseled body, Hrithik Roshan has turned 50 today. Renowned for his acting prowess and equally celebrated for his impressive physique, Duggu has become a benchmark in Bollywood for fitness.&nbsp;</p>
<h3><strong>What Hrithik Roshan ate for his physique in Fighter</strong></h3>
<p>He&rsquo;ll be next seen on the silver screen with Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor in Fighter directed by Siddharth Anand. As per a report from the Times of India, the actor consumed approximately 4000 calories daily as part of his preparation for the role in the film. Roshan's dietary regimen was rich in protein, mostly egg whites, fish, poultry, and protein shakes. Furthermore, he incorporated carbohydrates from sweet potatoes, oats, and rice.&nbsp;</p>
<h3><strong>"Hardest part - was saying NO"</strong></h3>
<p>He has shared posts during his preparation for the film. One of his posts was all about his diet and food. He shared pictures of boxes consisting of home cooked foods. He mentioned in the caption that one meal consisted 130 grams calories which he consumed every three hours.</p>

Thank you Sa.</em><br><em>Best part - having a mentor like Mr. Kris Gethin who one can follow blind. <p>Actor Hrithik Roshan took to Instagram on Monday to share a glimpse of his Diwali celebrations with his entire clan. His rumoured Saba Azad joined the family for celebrations.</p>
<p>In the first picture, Hrithik was seen sitting with Saba, with his entire family accompanying him.</p>
<p>The duo held hands as they posed for the cameras.</p>
<p>For the occasion, Hrithik wore black kurta and trousers set, paired with black boots, while Saba looked pretty in a green and red lehenga set, which she styled with minimal jewellery.</p>
<p>Hrithik's parents Rakesh Roshan and Pinky Roshan were also seen standing behind them.</p>
<p>In the second picture, Hrithik and Saba posed another family picture at a different spot in the house.</p>
<p>Sharing the pictures, Hrithik simply wrote, &lsquo;Happy Diwali beautiful people (red heart emoticon)&rsquo;</p>
<p>Hrithik Roshan and his girlfriend Saba Azad recently celebrated his cousin Pashmina Roshan's birthday. The two were seen dressed as American author Scott Fitzgerald and his wife, painter and author Zelda Fitzgerald.</p>
