The full-sized Apple HomePod is back after being taken off the market for more than two years. It now has a lot of new features.
The second-generation HomePod has a new set of four microphones, a new woofer, and support for sensors that measure temperature and humidity.
It also has a Sound Recognition feature that can listen to the beeps from a smoke or carbon monoxide detector and send alerts to your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
The design hasn't changed much, but the new model is a bit shorter and lighter than the old one.&nbsp;
It comes in two colours, White and a new lighter grey called Midnight. Both come with power cables that match the colour of the device and can now be removed.
In India, the second-generation HomePod costs ₹32,900.

Apple has launched a smaller version of the HomePod smart speakers, the HomePod mini. It features the same mesh fabric exterior along with a small display on top to show the Siri waveform and volume controls, but the new model has more of a short, spherical shape.
It gets an Apple S5 chip that allows for &ldquo;computational audio&rdquo; processing as well as U1 chips for Ultra Wideband support. The HomePod Mini features a full-range dynamic driver, two passive radiators, and an &ldquo;acoustic waveguide&rdquo; on the bottom.
Multiple HomePod mini speakers can play music in sync and create stereo pairing, while the new &lsquo;Intercom&rsquo; feature allows users to communicate throughout the house.
Apple has also promised support for third-party music services, including Amazon Music. The HomePod Mini costs ₹9,900 and will go on sale from November 16.
