A 30-year-old woman in Ballia, UP, allegedly committed suicide following a Holi celebration dispute with her mother-in-law. Police are investigating.

A 30-year-old woman allegedly died by suicide in Uttar Pradesh's Ballia district after consuming a poisonous substance following a scolding from her mother-in-law for applying colour to the father-in-law on Holi, police said on Monday.
The incident took place in the Trikalpur village under the Sahatwar police station area.
According to police, Dhanawati Devi (30) consumed poison after the confrontation. Her family members rushed her to a local hospital, where she died later in the evening.
Sahatwar Station House Officer (SHO) Dinesh Pathak said on Monday that police had taken the body into custody and sent it for postmortem.
He said the woman took the extreme step after being reprimanded by her mother-in-law over the Holi incident.&nbsp;

To begin, blend ghee and powdered sugar into refined wheat flour, then knead the mixture into a firm dough using cold water.&nbsp;
<h3>Recipe for thandai masala</h3>
For the thandai masala preparation, lightly toast almonds, cashews, and pistachios in a pan. Then, add black pepper, cinnamon, fennel, cardamom, a pinch of nutmeg, dried melon seeds, dry rose petals, and poppy seeds, ensuring they don't brown. Transfer these ingredients to a grinder, along with saffron, and grind into a fine powder.
<h3>How to make the gujiya filling</h3>
For the filling preparation, lightly roast semolina (suji) in a pan over low heat and set it aside. In the same pan, fry grated coconut until golden brown, then add khoya and fry until aromatic. Remove the pan from the heat, stir in the thandai masala and powdered sugar until well combined. Finally, mix in the roasted semolina thoroughly to complete the mixture.
Next, shape the dough into rounds and fill each with the masala filling, forming them into the traditional gujiya shape. Bake the filled gujiyas in the oven until golden brown. Once done, your Thandai Baked Gujiyas are ready to be served hot and savored. Enjoy this delightful treat!
