A joint team of the CM flying squad, district health department and Gurugram Police has busted a racket that allegedly got kidney transplant done illegally for money in two private hospitals in Jaipur. After the transplant, the gang allegedly used to make the patient and the donor stay in a guest house in Gurugram, said the police.
The team raided the guest house on Thursday where they allegedly found two donors and three recipients. An FIR has been registered at the Sadar police station and the police are conducting raids to nab the mastermind of the gang Mohammed Murtaza Ansari, a native of Jharkhand.
Ansari had allegedly taken Rs 10 lakh from the recipients and gave Rs 2 lakh to the donors in exchange for a kidney, they added.
According to the complaint filed by Gurugram Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr Pawan Chaudhary, the raid was conducted at M/S Babil Palace in Sector 39 following a tip-off that a nexus of organ transplant was being run by Ansari at the guest house, said police.
When the raiding team reached the guest house, its owner Rohit disclosed that five of the guests, who were allegedly from Bangladesh, were staying there and he suspected they were the patients brought by Ansari, the police said.
During interacting with the guests, all natives of Bangladesh, it was revealed they were donors and recipients of the kidney and they were treated at a hospital in Jaipur, Dr Chaudhary said.
"The donor and the recipient do not have any blood relation. When the donors and the recipients were inquired about the no objection certificate or any permission from the authority, neither the donors nor the recipients could produce any such document.

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped for 20 days by three men from Jind Haryana, police said on Thursday.
The minor was rescued and the accused were arrested, they said.

A case of kidnapping against unknown people was registered and during the investigation, the names of the three men came up. While two of the accused are from the victim's village, the third is a resident of Uttar Pradesh, police said.
The girl told police that after she was abducted, the three men raped her.
The accused have been booked under the POCSO Act and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including kidnapping and rape, they said.

Haryana Police identifies Kurukshetra man found dead in Croatia, here's how

Initially, the Haryana Police had sent a physical DNA sample which could not be sent through the Interpol channels.

In a first, the Haryana Police have identified a Kurukshetra man whose body was found in Croatia through DNA matching using the Interpol's standardised digital format, officials said on Saturday.
The body was identified as that of Parminder Singh, they said. In a statement, the police said this is the first time that a case of DNA matching has been done using Interpol's standardized digital format.
Initially, the Haryana Police had sent a physical DNA sample which could not be sent through the Interpol channels.
Later, the digital format of the DNA profile was collected by the Haryana Police from the Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Chandigarh, which was then transmitted to Croatia using Interpol channels on the same day, police said.
Kurukshetra resident Paramjeet Kaur had lodged a complaint, saying her son Parminder wanted to go to Italy but had instead reached Serbia, police said.
She later came to know that an unidentified body had been found in Croatia, which she suspected to be that of her son, they said.
