Bhiwani 'double murder': charred bodies found in SUV belong to Junaid and Nasir, confirms FSL report

"The FSL (forensic science laboratory) report confirms that the charred bodies and the blood stains in the SUV recovered from a Gau-shala in Jind (Haryana) were of Nasir and Junaid," Bharatpur range IG Gaurav Srivastav said.

The report of forensic science laboratory has confirmed that the charred bodies and the blood stains found in the SUV recovered from a cow shelter in Haryana's Jind were of Junaid and Nasir, a Rajasthan police officer said.
The bodies of Rajasthan&rsquo;s Bharatpur-based men, who were abducted, were found inside a vehicle in Haryana's Bhiwani district on February 16. The families of the deceased alleged that they were beaten and murdered by members of the Bajrang Dal.
"The FSL (forensic science laboratory) report confirms that the charred bodies and the blood stains in the SUV recovered from a Gau-shala in Jind (Haryana) were of Nasir and Junaid," Bharatpur range IG Gaurav Srivastav said.
He said the burnt vehicle matched the chassis number, but the bodies left inside could not be identified.
The officer said that FSL samples were collected from the spot. Blood samples of the family members of Nasir and Junaid were also collected so that the blood stains found in the SUV and the bones found in the burnt vehicle can be matched.
He said the report has now confirmed the identity of both bodies.
During the probe, the SUV was found in Jind in which the victims were abducted and beaten. "Our teams are camping in Haryana and working closely with the Haryana police to nab the accused," he added.&nbsp;

The Haryana Police on Sunday used water cannons and tear gas shells to disperse a large group of state government employees holding a demonstration in Panchkula for the restoration of the Old Pension Scheme.
Police took action when the demonstrators, who had gathered on the Panchkula-Chandigarh border, tried to cross over into the Union Territory and march towards the Haryana chief minister's residence and 'gherao' it to press for their demand.
There was heavy police deployment at the site on the border, police said.
The demonstrators had gathered under the banner of the 'Old Pension Scheme (OPS) Restoration Struggle Committee' and a representative of the panel, while speaking to reporters in Panchkula, claimed that a few employees had suffered injuries during the police action.
"Restoration of OPS is a legitimate demand. Governments of Rajasthan, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh have restored it. The Haryana government has given an excuse that the government will go bankrupt if OPS is restored, which is not correct," the committee's representative said.
He said that an employee gives 25 to 30 years of service to a department. "Politicians have in the past also been getting pensions for multiple terms, so what are we demanding...," he said.

Superintendent of Police, Bharatpur, Shyam Singh said an FIR has been registered at Gopalgarh police station against five people -- Anil, Srikant, Rink Saini, Lokesh Singhla and Monu -- on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victims' family members and teams have been formed to nab the accused.
The accused have been booked under sections 143 (unlawful assembly), 365 (kidnapping), 367 (grievously hurt after kidnapping) and 368 (wrongfully keeping in confinement) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), he said.

All hospital staff working in clinical (medics and paramedics), cleanliness and sanitation, security, transport, technical, kitchen, field, etc should be in proper uniform during working hours, he said.
"Funky hairstyles, heavy jewellery, accessories, makeup, long nails during working hours are unacceptable, especially in the healthcare centres,&rdquo; Vij said.

In a head-on collision between a police vehicle and a passenger car in Haryana's Gurugram, a six-month-old child died on 15 January 2023.
The police emergency vehicle was allegedly being driven on the wrong side of the road. Witnesses said that cops and the driver of the police vehicle fled after the accident.
The crash took place on Gurugram-Faridabad road around 11 am. Apart from the 6-month-old victim, at least 5 persons were injured.
Vishwajit Maan, the father of the deceased girl, said that the accident occurred due to the negligence of the ERV driver who was coming from the wrong direction. Mann works in the education department of the Delhi government.
An FIR has been registered against the ERV driver, police said.

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij on Saturday escaped unhurt after a truck hit his escort vehicle which then rammed into his car from behind on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway, the second incident involving his official car in three weeks.
The latest incident occurred near Bahadurgarh town, close to the same spot where his car broke down earlier on December 19. He was on his way to Gurugram from Ambala Cantt, his home constituency, on both the occasions.
Vij said the Saturday's incident took place when he had taken a halt on the KMP Expressway.
"Today's incident was close to the spot where the previous one took place. We had taken a brief halt on the KMP and I was sitting in my car when suddenly a truck hit my escort vehicle, which was about 10 feet behind my car.
"The escort vehicle then rammed into my car, which got damaged. All escaped unhurt," Vij told PTI over the phone.
He said he was on his way to Gurugram when the incident took place.
On December 19, Vij had a miraculous escape when the shock absorber of his official vehicle broke down on the KMP Expressway.
At that time too, he was on his way to Gurugram from Ambala Cantt.&nbsp;

MBBS students in Haryana on Saturday called off their 54-day-long protest against the state government's bond policy.
The move came three days after the government notified its amended bond policy.
The policy was amended following a meeting of protesting students with Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar last month.
Dr Ankit Gulia, President of Resident Doctors Association at PGIMS, Rohtak, said the protest was called off on Saturday as the amended bond policy will provide relief to MBBS students.
On other demands of medical students, Gulia said students will be given relaxation in attendance and their exams slated for December 26 will be postponed.
A case registered against MBBS students will also be withdrawn, he said.

Student leader Anuj Dhania also said they withdrew their protest on Saturday after they were assured of quashing the FIR and postponement of exams.
Students ended their protest in the presence of Anita Saxena, Vice Chancellor of Pt Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences in Rohtak.
The Haryana government had three days back notified its amended bond policy in which it reduced the bond policy amount and cut down the duration for compulsory government service from seven to five years.
According to the amendments, the bond amount for male MBBS students in government medical colleges will be Rs 25.77 lakh and 10 per cent less at Rs 23.19 lakh for female students. Earlier, the bond amount was Rs 36.41 lakh.
The new bond policy is applicable from 2020-21 onwards.
MBBS students at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Rohtak and some other medical colleges had been holding protests for the past almost two months against the bond policy.

However, the school management refused and contacted the father, who asked officials to alert the police. The accused managed to flee while the school called the police.

According to the complaint filed by the mother, her nine-year-old son and seven-year-old daughter take a private van to commute to school.
"On December 6, my husband had gone to Lucknow for business. He got a call from the school informing him that two youths had come to take our children home. My husband called me to check but I was surprised. He then asked the school to call the police," she said in the complaint.
"We are afraid as we don't know who they were and why they were trying to abduct our children,&rdquo; the woman said.
"Both the accused are visible in the CCTV footage and we are trying to trace their vehicle. The accused will be nabbed soon," Arjun Dhundhara, SHO of BPTP police station said.
