<p>Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, known for his reserved stance on social media, faced trolling after he shared a photo with English football legend David Beckham, whom he met at his sister Sonam Kapoor's gathering post the India vs New Zealand match.</p>
<p>In response to a troll questioning if Beckham even knew who he was, Harsh quipped humorously, highlighting Beckham's presence at his home.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The comment read, &lsquo;Usne ye nahi poochha ki tu hai kaun? (Didn't he ask you who you are)?&rsquo; Responding to it, Harsh Varrdhan said, &lsquo;Bhai woh mere ghar pe aaya.. Tu kaun hai? (Bro, he came to my house. But, who are you)?&rsquo;</p>
<p>Expressing admiration for Beckham, Harsh previously posted a heartfelt caption alongside the photo, mentioning his dedicated following of Beckham's career, especially during his Manchester United days.</p>
<p>On X (formerly Twitter), Harsh hinted at discussing Manchester United's situation with Beckham while keeping details under wraps. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>The interaction between Harsh and the troll has shed light on his passion for football and his amiable connection with Beckham, despite the scrutiny he occasionally faces on social media platforms.</p>
<p>David Beckham's visit to India included attending Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's party, where several Bollywood celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Malaika Arora, and others were also present.</p>
<p>Beckham was later spotted at Shah Rukh Khan's residence, Mannat.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Hours after his elitist &lsquo;stop wearing fake sneakers&rsquo; statement, actor Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor took to social media to issue a clarification.</p>
<p>Responding to a tweet that read, &lsquo;Friends can you like&hellip; stop being poor and buy some money??! (sic)&rsquo;, the actor wrote, &lsquo;When I put this out I already knew people who don&rsquo;t know people would come after me etc. But the truth is I&rsquo;ve been doing this for a long time and reps (replicas) of hyped shoes are more expensive than say a pair of converse old skool vans or used air forces etc.&rsquo;</p>
<p>He added, &lsquo;I know every time I say something there will be people on social media who don&rsquo;t know anything about footwear etc. going crazy but a lot of my followers are (running shoe emoji) enthusiasts or are looking to collect and that&rsquo;s the audience I&rsquo;m speaking to. <p>Reacting to his tweet, a person wrote, &lsquo;But what's the problem with wearing duplicate sneakers.&rsquo;</p>
<p>&lsquo;If people are happy wearing fake sneakers what&rsquo;s wrong with it? Who are we to decide if they should buy a Bata or Campus or Nike or Adidas? It&rsquo;s their money let them buy fake or OG,&rsquo; tweeted another X user.</p>
<p>Earlier, Harsh took to his Instagram Stories and wrote, &lsquo;Don't know who needs to hear this, but please stop wearing fake sneakers... if you have a low/moderate budget there's plenty of great options out there. Converse vans basic air force etc... if someone gets you a gift and they happen to be inauthentic you can pass them onto someone else that doesn't know what they are and would be happy to wear... but if you are buying you're own please do your own diligence... buy from trusted sellers...&rsquo;</p>
