According to Times of India, he was on dialysis and his potassium levels had dropped drastically. His last rites will be held at a crematorium in Santacruz at 4 pm today.

Celebrities like Vidya Balan, Rani Mukerji, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Dia Mirza, Sakshi Tanwar, Rhea Chakraborty Divyanka Tripathi, and others arrived at the crematorium for the funeral.
His first <a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/pradeep-sarkar-dies-a-look-at-the-director-s-decades-long-career-1679638525784">debut movie</a> as a director was &lsquo;Parineeta&rsquo; (2005) for which he won Filmfare Best Art Direction, the Zee Cine Award for Most Promising Director, the National Film Award, and the Indira Gandhi Award for Best First Film of a Director.

US woman found alive hours after being declared dead: report

Police said the woman was pronounced dead by Water&rsquo;s Edge Rehab and Nursing Center in Port Jefferson at about 11.15 am on February 5

An 82-year-old woman was found alive at a funeral centre, hours after being declared dead by a New York nursing home, The Guardian reported.
Police said the woman was pronounced dead by Water&rsquo;s Edge Rehab and Nursing Center in Port Jefferson at about 11.15 am on February 5. She was subsequently taken to OB Davis Funeral Homes at 1.30 pm but was discovered breathing at about 2.09 pm.
The woman was reportedly hospitalized again, though update on her condition is not available yet, The Guardian added.
The apparent premature death declaration in the US is the second this year. In a silimar case on January 3, a 66-year-old woman was declared dead only to be found alive later. She later died on January 5.

The Mumbai-based firm has displayed a pyre and other cremation essentials at their kiosk.
Diksha Yadav, a Twitter user whose bio says she is journalist who has written for The Hindu and The Statesman, posted a photo of the stall and said that the company charges Rs 38,000 for membership.&nbsp;
The &nbsp;funeral service, as per a Times Now report has already earned profit of over Rs 50 lakhs and is expecting to mint a turnover of more than Rs 2000 crores.&nbsp;

The man, believed to be in his 70s, sustained burns on large parts of his body but was conscious and told police that he set himself on fire after pouring oil over him, Kyodo News agency reported.

A man has been arrested after running towards the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II, Lying-in-State at Westminster Hall in London as thousands of mourners file past to pay their respects.
The man was arrested under the UK’s Public Order Act and taken into custody, Metropolitan Police said. The incident occurred on Friday night and eyewitnesses reported seeing the man “run up” towards the raised platform on which the late monarch's coffin is laid along with the Imperial crown and other regalia.
"Around 10pm on Friday 16 September, officers from the Met's Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command detained a man in Westminster Hall following a disturbance,” the Met Police said in a statement.
"He was arrested for an offence under the Public Order Act and is currently in custody," the statement said.
The live video stream, which has been running on the BBC throughout since the Lying-in-State opened to the public on Wednesday, was briefly paused during the incident.

He said, "My mother passed away today. Muslim brothers supported me a lot. All the arrangements were made with their help. I want to tell people to see this brotherhood. Forget other things. Members of all communities should be able to live peacefully with each other. For our nation, all communities should peacefully co-exist."
Other residents of YK Pora said that communal harmony was a part of the village's history and culture. "We live in YK Pora and this village is cited as an example of communal harmony. This brotherhood is not new. It's very old. Our fathers, grandfathers, ancestors lived in peace. Their (Pandit family) younger son's name is Rinku. I have very old relations with him. We've known each other for around 20 years. We visit each other's houses. They visit us on Eid. We visit them on their festivals. I would like to give a message that people should live in peace. That's most important. Islam, our religion teaches us that we should stay on good terms with our neighbours and take care of them. When a Muslim departs from this world, they (Pandit family) visit us," said a family friend.

Star Med said that it was not responsible for the advertisement.&nbsp;
WBTV, a news channel, identified David Oakley, owner of BooneOakley, an advertisement agency to be the mind behind this ad.&nbsp;
'Wanted to do something with a different perspective', Oakley told WBTV, adding that he was worried about backlash&nbsp;before they started.&nbsp;
But even if one person got the vaccine because of the ad, it was worth it, according to him.&nbsp;
