The 18th Berlin Festival of lights 2022 was a 10-day long festival which was held from October 6-17, 2022. Berlin&rsquo;s most iconic landmarks and buildings were lit up with magical light shows and art by renowned international artists.&nbsp;

October brings with it, an array of festivities all around the world. When it&rsquo;s Diwali season in India, Berlin gears up for its world-famous festival of lights. This year the 18th edition of the event was a 10-day long festival which began on the 6th of this month and ended on the 17th with grandeur and pomp. Berlin&rsquo;s most iconic landmarks and buildings were lit up with magical light shows and art by renowned international artists.&nbsp;
These were the highlights of this year&rsquo;s show:&nbsp;

Berlin lit up to kick off annual Festival of Lights in Germany 

Under the motto "together we shine" the historic centre of Berlin was lit up on Friday evening with installations on monuments and historical buildings throughout the city.
The 16th Festival of Lights has turned it into an open air light gallery.
It will spread throughout the city over the next week, illuminating different neighbourhoods and hopefully bringing some joy during the coronavirus pandemic as well as&nbsp;spread the message of gratitude and solidarity in these difficult times.&nbsp;
