According to Filmfare, Fawad will portray a chef based in the UK. He will team up with Vaani Kapoor, marking his return to the Hindi film industry after his 2016 appearance in Karan Johar&rsquo;s &lsquo;Ae Dil Hai Mushkil&rsquo;.&nbsp;

In a recent exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Fawad Khan discussed his current connections with industry colleagues like Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, and Sonam Kapoor.&nbsp;
Fawad revealed, &lsquo;I&rsquo;m in touch on and off. Hamari baat ho jaati hai kabhi chat pe (We talk sometimes on chat) and on phone, so I&rsquo;ve been in touch. I have enjoyed a very good relationship with the Kapoor family, and there is still a lot of love and respect, even with Karan and Shakun. So, dostiyaan (friendships) hai.&rsquo;
He continued, &lsquo;And then there are some producer friends with whom I keep chatting, and we make plans to meet somewhere. So, on and off, we talk, we keep in touch, and we&rsquo;re still very cordial and friendly. There&rsquo;s no love lost.&rsquo;

Fawad also admitted he is yet to watch the Ranbir Kapoor starrer &lsquo;Animal&rsquo;.&nbsp;
&lsquo;Maine nahi dekhi hai abhi, aur mai dekhna chahta hu, netflix pe aagai hai lekin muje dekhne ka mauka nai mila, and everyone has been recommending (I haven&rsquo;t seen it yet, but I want to. It&rsquo;s on Netflix now, but I haven&rsquo;t had the chance to watch it. Everyone has been recommending it),&rsquo; he said.

Fawad Khan made his Bollywood debut with 'Khoobsurat' in 2014 opposite Sonam Kapoor. He then went on to appear in films like 'Kapoor &amp; Sons' and 'Ae Dil Hai Mushqil'. However, following the Uri Attack in 2016, a ban was imposed on Pakistani artists by the Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association. But back in 2023, the Bombay High Court dismissed a petition that had called for a complete ban on Indian citizens, companies, and associations from collaborating with Pakistani artists, such as actors, singers, musicians, lyricists, and technicians. Now, rumours of Fawad Khan's returning to Bollywood have ignited a wave of excitement among Pakistani actor's Indian fans.&nbsp;

During an interview on Ahmad Ali Butt's YouTube channel, Fawad Khan mentioned his debates with public relations representatives about his level of visibility.
&lsquo;You&rsquo;ve made a lot of friends in India, but it came to the point where you were being compared to the big names. Did it p**s &nbsp;off a lot of the big dogs? Ali Zafar, Mahira Khan and you were being offered lead roles in one of the biggest industries in the world. Do you think it happened too soon for you in order to become a threat?&rsquo; the host asked.
Fawad said, &lsquo;How do I know, man?&rsquo; That&rsquo;s such a heavy question. I got a lot of love from India, but look, every industry has its politics. In Pakistan as well. But it&rsquo;s easier to combat in your own industry. I&rsquo;m not saying it&rsquo;s unheard of, I&rsquo;m sure it happens everywhere. There was one thing, I had PRs, and they used to get angry at this&hellip; I was like, &lsquo;I need you to take out my name, not put it in there&rsquo;. I would ask my PR to remove me from places, not put me. My manager would say, &lsquo;You don&rsquo;t know how the world works&rsquo;.&rsquo;
Fawad shared that his manager told him that being on social media is &lsquo;the norm&rsquo;, but he was vehement about not exposing himself to the public too much.
&lsquo;Woh kehte hain jo dikhta hai woh bikta hai, mujhe lagta hai jo kam dikhta hai woh zyada bikta hai (They say all publicity is good publicity, but I feel no publicity is the best publicity),&rsquo; he said. The actor believes a constant presence on social media &lsquo;dilutes the power of a movie star&rsquo;.
Fawad's Indian debut was in the fairy-tale drama &lsquo;Khoobsurat,&rsquo; alongside Sonam Kapoor, and he later garnered praise for his role in the family drama &lsquo;Kapoor &amp; Sons.&rsquo;

Actor Fawad Khan&rsquo;s Pakistani film &lsquo;The Legend of Maula Jatt&rsquo;, co-starring Mahira Khan, was scheduled to release in India on December 30 but now the film has been pushed indefinitely.

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan&rsquo;s film &lsquo;The Legend of Maula Jatt&rsquo;, co-starring Mahira Khan, was scheduled to release in theatres in India on December 30 after the Central Board of Film Certification clearance. However, now, the statutory film-certification body has reportedly recalled and postponed the release of the film.
A source told Bollywood Hungama, 'Zee Studios had already acquired a clearance for The Legend Of Maula Jatt from the Central Board of Film Certification. But on Monday the CBFC recalled the film.'
There is no confirmation about whether the censor certificate given to 'The Legend Of Maula Jatt' has been revoked. However, the release of the film has been stalled.
Earlier, a Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Ameya Khopkar reacted to the news of this movie being released in Indian theatres and said, &lsquo;we will not let this film be released anywhere in India.&rsquo;
He tweeted, '&lsquo;There are plans to release Pakistani actor Fawad Khan&rsquo;s Pakistani film &lsquo;The Legend of Maula Jatt&rsquo; in India. It is most infuriating that an Indian company is leading this plan. Following Raj Saheb&rsquo;s orders we will not let this film release anywhere in India.&rsquo; He added, &lsquo;Fawad Khan&rsquo;s fans, traitors may very well go to Pakistan and watch the film.&rsquo;

Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan, who won many Indian fans with his performances in Bollywood films like 'Khoobsurat', 'Kapoor &amp; Sons' and 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', is reportedly all set to make his Hollywood debut.
According to the IMDB website, Fawad Khan has been cast&nbsp;in Marvel's upcoming Disney+ series 'Ms. Marvel', which stars Canadian actress Iman Vellani in the titular role.
According to reports, Bollywood actor-producer Farhan Akhar along with two more Pakistani artists - Nimra Bucha and Samina Ahmad, will also star in the upcoming series.
However, there is no official confirmation by Fawad Khan and the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) yet.
