<p>Vin Diesel confirms he has three conditions for the final <em data-start="460" data-end="476">Fast &amp; Furious</em> film, including a reunion with Brian O'Connor&rsquo;s character. Universal Studios plans an April 2027 release.</p>

<p>Hollywood actor Vin Diesel, best known for the "Fast &amp; Furious" franchise, says he has three conditions for the final film, which Universal Studios wants to release in April 2027, one of them being the reunion with Brian O'Connor's character.</p>
<p>The first installment of "Fast &amp; Furious" released in 2001, starring Diesel in the role of Dominic Toretto.</p>
<p>Till now, there have been 10 films in total with a spinoff "Fast &amp; Furious Presents: Hobbs &amp; Shaw", two short films and an animated series on Netflix, "Fast &amp; Furious: Spy Racers".</p>
<p>According to the entertainment news outlet Deadline, Diesel was present at FuelFest in Southern California on Saturday. The 57-year-old actor got on the stage in front of the cheerful crowd as he spoke about the film.</p>
<p>Diesel said the studio proposed the release date of the film, to which he had three conditions. First to have the franchise return to Los Angeles. Second to have street racing in it and the last to reunite with Brian O'Conner.</p>
<p>"Just yesterday, I was with Universal Studios... the studio said to me, 'Vin, can we please have the finale of 'Fast and Furious' in April 2027. I said under three conditions, the first is to bring the franchise back to LA, the second is to return to the car culture, to the street racing. The third thing was reuniting Dom and Brian O'Connor," he said.</p>
<p>Brian O'Connor was portrayed by the late actor Paul Walker, who died in an accident in 2013. He was working on "Fast &amp; Furious 7" at the time of the tragedy. The makers used CGI and VFX artists and his two brothers, Cody and Caleb Walker, to finish the film.</p>
<p>"Fast X", the latest film in the franchise, released in 2023. Directed by Louis Leterrier, it also featured Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Momoa and Alan Ritchson.</p>

<p>Diesel posted a photo with his co-star Jordana Brewster and shared that Brewster had personally encouraged him to have Universal complete the filming in Los Angeles.</p>
<p>"Last week, during the fires that displaced LA, my sister Jordana reached out to me and said, 'Please have Universal film the rest of Fast X: Part 2 in LA,'" Diesel wrote.&nbsp;</p>
<p>"Los Angeles needs it now more than ever. Los Angeles is where Fast &amp; Furious started filming 25 years ago, and now Fast will finally return home. All love..." he added.</p>
<p>The wildfires have ravaged large parts of the LA area, igniting in Pacific Palisades and spreading through Malibu and Santa Monica, with the Eaton Fire severely affecting the Altadena-Pasadena region.&nbsp;</p>
<p>As for Fast X: Part 2, the movie is set to conclude the franchise. Diesel confirmed last year that this will be the final chapter, referring to it as a "grand finale" and a "celebration of the incredible family" they've built throughout the series.&nbsp;</p>
<p>According to Deadline, Universal is targeting a March 2026 release for the highly anticipated film. Directed by Louis Leterrier, Fast X: Part 2 will feature a star-studded cast including Jason Statham, Nathalie Emmanuel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Momoa, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Dwayne Johnson.</p>

Despite a recent attempt at reconciliation from lead star Vin Diesel, Johnson said he remains firm on decision to not appear in any future "Fast & Furious" movie.
"I was very surprised by Vin's recent post. This past June, when Vin and I actually connected not over social media, I told him directly - and privately - that I would not be returning to the franchise.
"I was firm yet cordial with my words and said that I would always be supportive of the cast and always root for the franchise to be successful, but that there was no chance I would return. I privately spoke with my partners at Universal as well, all of whom were very supportive as they understand the problem," Johnson told CNN.
The 49-year-old actor played the role of Luke Hobbs in the long-running film series, beginning with 2011's "Fast Five".
He later reprised the role for "Fast & Furious 6" (2013), "Furious 7" (2015) and "The Fate of the Furious" (2017) as well as the 2019 spinoff "Hobbs & Shaw".
Johnson had a major fall out with Diesel during the making of "The Fate of the Furious" that resulted in the actor dropping out of the latest instalment, "Fast and Furious 9", which released earlier this year.
In November, Diesel had extended an olive branch to Johnson by writing an open letter and asking the actor to return to the franchise for the upcoming 10th instalment.
Johnson called Diesel's post an "example of his manipulation".
"I didn't like that he brought up his children in the post, as well as Paul Walker's death. Leave them out of it. We had spoken months ago about this and came to a clear understanding," the "Red Notice" star said.
He asserted that he ended his "Fast & Furious" journey with "gratitude and grace" and sent his best wishes to the rest of the team for the upcoming movie.
"It's unfortunate that this public dialogue has muddied the waters. Regardless, I'm confident in the 'Fast' universe and its ability to consistently deliver for the audience, and I truly wish my former co-stars and crew members the best of luck and success in the next chapter," Johnson said.
