Fashion designer Suneet Varma unveiled his latest collection 'Nazm', showcasing a breathtaking spectacle at India Couture Week 2024. Drawing inspiration from India's rich decorative art heritage, the collection infuses a contemporary twist into traditional techniques, showcasing exquisite hand-embroidered appliqu&eacute; work in opulent gold and ivory hues from various parts of the country. A harmonious ode to the seductive allure of classic Bollywood, the collection caters to the modern Indian woman's desire for elegance and individuality while celebrating the nation's rich artistic legacy. In collaboration with the exquisite Raniwala 1881, the jewellery partner for the show, the collection sparkled with added brilliance.&nbsp;

The runway was transformed into an enchanting white forest, a whimsical dreamscape that transported the audience to a land of fantasy and seduction. This ethereal setting intertwined with the interplay of light and shadow through the delicate forest added a mystical aura that perfectly complemented Varma's collection.&nbsp; &nbsp; &ldquo;Nazm is an intimate ode to India's rich heritage and the timeless allure of classic Bollywood romance,&rdquo; revealed Suneet Varma. &ldquo;This collection is a celebration of the modern Indian woman &ndash; who is confident, sensual, and unapologetically herself. Midnight blue and burgundy hues with silver accents add a touch of mystery to glamorous lehengas. Varma's innovative use of appliqu&eacute; in shiny metallic foil blends glamour with traditional silhouettes, offering lightweight yet opulent pieces. The much-awaited Lakme Fashion Week kicked off on March 9th and top designers of the country including Manish Malhotra, Anushree Reddy, Itrh and Tarun Tahiliani among others showcased their latest collections with Bollywood actors and influencers as showstoppers.
Celebrity showstoppers this year included Sushmita Sen, Zeenat Aman, Shilpa Shetty, Sobhita Dhulipala, Sonakshi Sinha, Karisma Kapoor, Ananya Pandey, Shanaya Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Sara Ali Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanya Malhotra and Athiya Shetty among others.
