The Paris Haute Couture Week recently witnessed a 'Pin-tastic' show by Jean Paul Gaultier which was designed by Haider Ackermann. Well, there are reasons behind our emphasis on pins as the show saw attires featuring more than 1 lakh hand-embroidered pins.&nbsp;
While Gaultier is popular for 'more is more' approach, the favourite designer of your favourite designers, Ackermann is known for his minimal aesthetic, making the show even more surreal for the audience.&nbsp;
One of the outfits at the show featured 1,11,780 hand-embroidered pins, while another one had 1,42,000 of them.

Ukrainian designer Lessja Verlingieri who's also the founder of Lever Couture, teamed up with British artists Jenny and Ricci Williams, to create one-of-a-kind dress to mark the first anniversary of Russian invasion of Ukraine.&nbsp;
The team encouraged people and groups from all over the world to send love messages to Ukraine. These thoughts were then printed on the sheer white gown and the letters would be engraved on a handcrafted couture gown and an NFT.&nbsp;
'Love letter to Ukraine' project aims to send messages of love and hope from all over the world to Ukraine. This gown will be auctioned with 100 per cent of the proceeds donated to the Zelenska Foundation.

A man allegedly tied the hands and legs of his Ghaziabad-based fashion blogger wife before pushing her off a building in Agra leading to 30-year-old Ritika Singh’s death.   Her husband Aakash Gautam and two others have been arrested. Gautam was angry over the woman staying with a friend at an apartment in Agra, and an argument between the two ended in the fatal incident.  Police said they received information that Ritika died after falling off the fourth floor of a building in the Nagla Mewati area. During the investigation, it was found that her husband came with his family members on Friday and an argument broke out, and she was eventually pushed off the building. Her family said Ritika had pursued a course in social media and blogging and began a fashion, lifestyle, and travel blogging account two years ago. She had amassed more than 44,000 followers on Instagram. She met Aakash in 2014 and the two got married. Her family alleged that he would live off her earnings and she had faced constant abuse. Tired of the abuse, she shifted from Firozabad and began living with her friend, whom she had met on Facebook, in a rented apartment.

Five Aussie designers took the stage at Lotus Makeup India Fashion as part of an MoU between the Ministry of Textiles and the Australian High Commission. Curated by non-profit Artisans of Fashion, the show saw designers converting heritage textiles like brocade, khadi and organic cottons into trendy yet wearable silhouttes. Details like feather trims, ruffled hems and billowing sleeves were also spotted.
