Bitcoin hovered near nine-month highs on Monday, and has closed out its best week in four years&nbsp;

As the turmoil in traditional banking drives some investors to turn to digital assets, the biggest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin surpassed $28,000 for the first time since June 2022.&nbsp;
Bitcoin's market value fell 1.8% to $27,549 after hitting its highest since June last year, on Sunday at $28,474 .
It rose 26% last week and is up more than 35% in ten days as turmoil in the banking sector has sent&nbsp; shockwaves around the globe &mdash; beginning with the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and culminating, so far, in UBS&rsquo; takeover of Credit Suisse at a discount over the weekend.
Ethereum, the second-biggest cryptocurrency, also rose to a seven-month high of $1,846.50 on Sunday and was last at $1,768.

Seems like the whole week has been bad for Crypto market as prices&nbsp; remained under pressure after crypto exchange Binance said it was pulling out of a deal to purchase failing rival FTX Trading.&nbsp;
The world&rsquo;s largest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin tumbled over 10%, falling as low as $15,603.3- its weakest level since mid-2020. The token traded around $16,138.5, and has lost over 20% of its value this week.&nbsp;
Not only this, Ethereum (ETH) also &nbsp;also tumbled by more than 10% to $1,166. Dogecoin, a meme coin, which was the best performing currency for the past few days, fell 20.14 per cent.&nbsp;
The global crypto market cap slipped below the $1 trillion mark, as it was almost down over 12% in the last 24 hours to $844 billion, as per CoinGecko.

India's largest cryptocurrency exchange WazirX is facing heat on social media as its users could not place fresh bets due to a payment snag. For the last two-three days, multiple users have been complaining about their deposit service.
WazirX said that the delay in accepting funds was due to a network issue at its banking partner's end. It added that the money that was debited from traders' accounts would be credited back ASAP.
Even last&nbsp;week, many&nbsp;users had posted complaints on social media about transaction delays, payment failures and their money getting stuck.&nbsp;To which the company had said&nbsp;its servers were being overwhelmed by traffic caused by the massive demand for Dogecoin. In the past 10 days, the crypto&nbsp;world has seen a sharp surge in demand for Dogecoin&nbsp;and Ethereum.
An upsurge in traffic could also be the potential reason for the glitch.&nbsp;WazirX&nbsp;added one million users during April and is eying to onboard 10 million customers on its platform by the end of the ongoing quarter.
