Muslims across the world are celebrating Eid-al-Adha. The festival is celebrated on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the 12th month of the Islamic or lunar calendar. Also called as the 'festival of sacrifice', it marks the end of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
On this special day, as you celebrate with your friends and family, treat them to a special dessert - shahi tukda. Easy to make and delicious to eat, this one is a sure-shot treat!
<h3>How to make shahi tukda</h3>
Ingredients:
Bread Ghee Milk Cardamom powder Saffron Dry Fruits Condensed milk
Corn flour
To make this delicious dessert, first remove the edges of the bread and cut them in a triangle shape. Now heat hot ghee in the pan and fry the bread in hot oil until it turns golden.
After this, boil milk in a pan. Now add cardamom powder, saffron, dry fruits, condensed milk and corn flour slurry and cook till it thickens.
Now pour this rabri over the bread and garnish it with pistachios and rose flowers. Your tasty shahi tukda is now ready!

The crescent moon for Dhul Hijjah has already been sighted and Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on June 16, 2024. It is that time of the year again when homes glow with a warm and inviting light and friends and family visit for a delicious treat.
This Eid make tasty sheer khurma for your friends and family by following this simple recipe.
<h3>How to make sheer khurma</h3>
<h3>Ingredients</h3>
Milk- 500 ml Condensed milk &ndash; 1/4 cup Saffron &ndash; a few threads Dry fruits &ndash; 1/4 cup (cashew nuts, pistachios, almonds, raisins, chironji etc.) Dates- 1/4 cup&nbsp; Vermicelli - 1/4 cup (about 60 grams)
<h3>How to make</h3>
To make sheer khurma, roast some nuts in ghee. You can take nuts like cashew nuts, pistachios, almonds, raisins, chironji. Take them out and keep them aside. Next, add milk in a pan.
Now add saffron and condensed milk to it and cook for 4 to 5 boils. Now add dates in it. Instead of cutting and adding them, you can blend and add them. Add finely chopped vermicelli and cook for 2 to 3 minutes add dry fruits.
Turn off the flame and add raisins. Keep its consistency as per your choice. Take it out in a bowl and garnish with dry fruits. Sheer Khurma is ready, enjoy with family and friends on Eid.
