2 friends cover 400 km of swollen Brahmaputra on self-created raft

Two adventure enthusiasts in Assam did what many would be wary of doing on the swollen Brahmaputra amid the floods.

The aim of the thrilling experience was to highlight the potential for water sports and rafting in Assam. It took them a week to build the 25-feet-long, 17-feet wide bamboo raft, using 170 bamboo shoots and named it Sibuk.

The Uttar Pradesh government has allowed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandi to meet the Hathras&nbsp;victim's family.&nbsp;

The Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday allowed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi to meet the family of 19-year-old Dalit girl who&nbsp;died at a Delhi hospital after being alleged gangraped and assaulted by four upper caste&nbsp;men&nbsp;in her village. The brother-sister duo will be accompanied by three other Congress leaders.&nbsp;On Thursday, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi along with several party leaders and workers were detained by the police and sent back to Delhi, after they tried to reach&nbsp;Hathras&nbsp;to meet the family of the Dalit woman.&nbsp;

2 alleged Babbar Khalsa terrorists held in Delhi after encounter

The Delhi Police on Monday arrested two terrorists of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). The police informed that the two terrorists were arrested from North West Delhi area after an encounter. Police has recovered six pistols and 40 cartridges from the two terrorists identified as Bhupender alias Dilawar Singh and Kulwant Singh. &nbsp;and were wanted in several cases, adding that recovered from their possession. It has been learned that the duo was also wanted in several other cases in Punjab.
