Is the Dizo Watch R Talk a good choice for those looking for a fashionable smartwatch with a bright display and a long battery life? Find out in our review!

The Dizo Watch R talk is the most expensive smartwatch that the first brand under Realme Techlife sells in India. &nbsp; &nbsp; It offers a nice design and high-end features like Bluetooth calling for just ₹5,000. So, should you put it on your shopping list? &nbsp; Design &amp; Display &nbsp; Dizo has pretty much nailed the aesthetic part of this smartwatch. It sports a well-finished metallic frame and has a nice heft to it. The Watch R Talk has two buttons on the right side, both of which are quite tactile.&nbsp; &nbsp; The silicon strap is of good quality and is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time, like when working out or sleeping. &nbsp; The Watch R Talk also has some kind of water resistance, but the Dizo website does not specify what kind. &nbsp; The circular display of the watch does have a chunky bezel around it, but the 1.3-inch AMOLED unit hides it pretty well. The display itself is of good quality for the price, and it produces deep blacks, which gives the overall UI of the watch quite an upmarket feel. &nbsp; The outdoor legibility is also quite good, thanks to 500 nits of peak brightness. The Watch R Talk also has an always-on display, which is a great feature to have on a smartwatch. &nbsp; However, there is no ambient light sensor, and manually adjusting the brightness can get quite annoying at times.&nbsp; &nbsp; Companion App &nbsp; Dizo has a dedicated companion app for its products that&rsquo;s available on both Android and iOS. It has a fairly straightforward interface, which gives you additional details on your tracked activities or allows you to load additional watch faces.&nbsp; &nbsp; I do feel that instead of launching a separate app for Dizo, Realme could have continued to pair Dizo products with its Realme Link app because it is more intuitive and shows more comprehensive data as well.&nbsp; &nbsp; Software &nbsp; Since it is an inexpensive smartwatch, the Watch R Talk runs on Dizo&rsquo;s proprietary UI instead of Wear OS. Therefore, you cannot download additional apps here. The two buttons on the right side of the watch help with navigation. The UI is fairly simple to operate and quite smooth as well.&nbsp; &nbsp; However, the software optimization leaves a lot to be desired, because I did get a buggy experience from time to time&nbsp; &nbsp; For instance, the watch often does not automatically connect to the app. Then, the always-on display has the tendency to randomly disappear. Also, the alarm did not go off one fine morning.&nbsp; &nbsp; I'm hoping these issues will be resolved with a future software update.&nbsp; &nbsp; Health &amp; Fitness Tracking &nbsp; The Watch R Talk has over 110 sports modes, but you can only load 13 of them at a time. Other modes remain in the companion app. &nbsp; I mostly used this watch to track my cardio and strength training at the gym. &nbsp; &nbsp; After an intense session of indoor cycling, the watch indicated that I had burned only 22 calories. It's safe to say that sports tracking isn&rsquo;t really this watch&rsquo;s strength.&nbsp; &nbsp; I also used the watch&rsquo;s sleep tracking feature for a couple of nights. The app only gives you a very basic distribution of your various sleep cycles. For comparison, the Realme Link app offers a much more detailed analysis in this area. &nbsp; Other health features like heart rate tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, and menstrual cycle tracking are also available on this watch.&nbsp; &nbsp; Bluetooth Calling &nbsp; The reason why this is Watch R Talk is because, well, you can talk through it. The watch has a built-in mic and speaker, which allows it to make and receive calls. Now, this isn't something you'll use all the time, but it will come in handy occasionally.&nbsp; &nbsp; The max volume of the speaker during a call should have been louder because it is difficult to hear outdoors. On the flip side, the mic&rsquo;s audio performance is very good. &nbsp; Battery Life &nbsp; The Watch R Talk&rsquo;s claimed battery life is 10 days without calling and 5 days with it. However, realistically, with mixed usage and always on display activated, you can expect anywhere between 4-6 days on a single charge. &nbsp; The watch comes with a magnetic charging connector, which can fully recharge it in around 2 hours.&nbsp; &nbsp; Verdict &nbsp; The Dizo Watch R Talk is a good option for those looking for a stylish smartwatch with a great display and good battery life. &nbsp; However, the Realme Watch 3 Pro is available for the same price and not only does it provide a more polished software experience, but it also includes built-in GPS, which this Dizo Watch lacks. &nbsp; So, make sure you have your priorities set before making a decision.
